Nicki Minaj Pregnant? Meek Mill Posts Cryptic Photo To Instagram
Is Nicki Minaj pregnant? That’s what many fans and media outlets alike are asking after her on-again-off-again boyfriend, Meek Mill, posted a cryptic photo to his Instagram account.
In the photo, Nicki can be seen taking a selfie while holding one hand above what appears to be a very round, pregnant-looking belly. In the photo, Meek tagged himself on Nicki’s Minaj’s pregnant belly. He captioned the photo simply “Haters will say it’s #photoshopped.”
Meek Mill clearly knows his audience, because as soon as the photo went up online, skeptics came out in droves. Several fans noted the quick change in Minaj’s appearance, saying that Nicki just appeared at the VMAs on Sunday without a baby bump. Other social media users called Mill on the stunt, saying that he’s simply trying to get a rise out of fans on social media.

Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill are no strangers to the rumor mill, especially when it comes to pregnancy rumors. In fact, the rumor of a Nicki Minaj-Meek Mill baby was circulating more than a year ago. Obviously, the rumor from August of 2015 turned out to be untrue, but at the time, it was Minaj who started the firestorm of pregnancy rumors after Nicki called Meek Mill her “baby father” during a concert in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania.
When it comes to creating rumors, Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill have a history of going out of their way to confuse fans. Calling Meek Mill her baby father is just one example of how Nicki may have misled fans in the past. In addition, she’s been spotted on occasion wearing a diamond ring, which, of course, led to plenty of engagement rumors.
Could the Nicki Minaj pregnancy photo on Meek Mill’s Instagram feed be just another example of the ways the couple allegedly toy with the media? That’s what blogger B. Scott believes. On LoveBScott.com, the blogger details why the Nicki Minaj-Meek Mill pregnancy rumor simply can’t be true.
“One quick glance at the photo and you might be quick to believe Nicki and Meek are expecting, but if you pay attention the photo is very clearly photoshopped. Not to mention, Nicki was JUST at the MTV Video Music Awards with NO trace of a baby bump. Sorry to those of you wanting a Nicki x Meek baby — it’s just not time yet.”

Additionally, B. Scott went so far as to track down the original photo, which reportedly comes from the Instagram feed of fitness model Tammy Hembrow. See the original photo below.
Although social media indicates that many fans would love to see a child from Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill, one fan was quick to remind others that Nicki has said in the past that she won’t have children before she’s married.

Hollywood Life echoed the same sentiment with a remark from an unnamed source who said the 33-year-old “Anaconda” singer definitely won’t be having a baby before she’s engaged.
“[Nicki’s] been adamant from day one that Meek needs to put a ring on her finger before they have a baby. She’s working nonstop and isn’t going to slow down to have a child if she isn’t married.”
