Demi Lovato Lets Jealousy Get The Better Of Her In Twitter Post

When Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama split up many months ago, the former couple shared a statement in which they declared they had simply grown apart as lovers but that their friendship would continue to grow. It now seems that those words posted via Instagram were given something of a creative spin if Demi’s latest Twitter post is any indication. Shared just one day after Valderrama was spotted out and about with his new love interest, Friday Night Lights actress Minka Kelly, Lovato seems to harbor some resentment toward Wilmer in her tweet.

Demi Lovato Tweets Out Her Frustrations

Minka and Wilmer were spotted out together, enjoying a date on Wednesday in Hollywood and, of course, it didn’t take long for the news to spread throughout the pair’s fans in the online community. US Weekly reports that Demi Lovato was among the first to really react to the news that Valderrama has a new girlfriend and, while she doesn’t name Wilmer by name, what Demi does say goes a long way toward making her intended subject clear.

Kelly and Valderrama have dated previously, and witnesses to their dinner date at Palms Thai restaurant in Hollywood say that the recent outing seemed to indicate a rekindling of that past romance.

As a reminder of what Lovato and Valderrama both posted to their Instagram accounts upon their June break-up, a portion of that post is quoted below.

“This was an incredibly difficult decision for both of us, but we have realized more than anything that we are better as best friends,” Wilmer and Demi both posted to their Instagram accounts on Friday, June 3. “We will always be supportive of one another.”

Confident Artist Demi Lovato Teases New Music

While the news that Wilmer is moving on may have left Demi Lovato hurting in her personal life, her career is definitely on an upswing at the moment. Lovato is still on the road with Nick Jonas for their shared concert tour, and as E! News reveals, Demi treated concert audiences in Cleveland to a very special cover. Amid performing her own hits, songs that included “Neon Lights,” “Heart Attack,” and “Stone Cold” among them, Ms. Lovato belted out Adele’s “When We Were Young” for her Cleveland fans.

“I think I should do something special for you guys,” Lovato announced before beginning the Adele tribute. “I want to perform a song that’s one of my all-time favorite songs and I’ve never performed it before so hopefully I can do it justice. Here we go.”

The Adele cover was a smash, but that wasn’t the only treat Lovato had in store for her fans. The tour won’t be making any stops for shows through the Labor Day weekend, but Demi isn’t using that time to relax. Instead, she revealed she’ll be keeping busy in the studio and working on new music for her next album.

“So excited for y’all to hear new music,” Demi Lovato announced.

While she is dedicated to her future and getting a new album out as soon as possible, Demi is still on the road with Jonas for their “Future Now Tour” and she’s not letting anything divert her from enjoying the remainder of that tour. Prior to kicking off the “Future Now Tour,” Jonas spoke openly about anticipating a very successful run. He issued a statement, sharing that he was great friends with Lovato and that their friendship had helped them to become equally compatible as business partners. It seems Nick’s prediction of an exciting and successful tour has come true, both for himself and for Demi Lovato.
