The Doctor Strange movie is slated for November and yet the Marvel Studios comic book movie rumor mill is inevitable. Screen Geek revealed this leak with detailed information regarding the flick. There is also a Reddit posting of the details as well.
Take it with a grain of salt, but if these turn out to be true, then we’re getting into spoiler territory.

Doctor Strange Test Screenings Have Been Positive
Last month it was reported by Collider that director Scott Derrickson said the test screenings turned out positive and they love Benedict Cumberbatch’s performance.
“We’ve had a few test screenings, and the overwhelming thing I’ve learned is that people love Benedict Cumberbatch in this movie. They just love him. You know, it’s kind of the headline I guess. They love the visuals, they love the action. But more than that they love Benedict, and he is Doctor Strange.”
Derrickson went on to describe the translation of visuals from the publication to the big screen. They made for great source material as they applied it to the special effects process and how seeing it in 3D would make it “more present, and more real.”
Doctor Strange’s Training, Tony Stark Cameo, and Reshoots
When reshoots were made, Community‘s Dan Harmon was brought on board to to scribe them, according to Collider. Some people tend to get in a tizzy when they read about reshoots and see them as a sign of concern when really it’s Marvel Studios’ standard operating procedure to do so.
Last month, 7 Days of Geek‘s podcaster said his “little spies” told him that Tony Stark would be making a cameo.
It appears as if my little spies have bagged me a scoop! Tony Stark may have a cameo in #DoctorStrange

The reshoots are also streamlined for the movie with some additional humor. Speaking of which, Movie Pilot speculated that the reshoots could mean a Runaways possibility and The Hashtag Show gave a tidbit of information regarding cameos made by Tina Minoru and Daniel Drumm’s brother, Brother Voodoo or Jericho. The person of interest here is Nico Minoru, mother to Tina.
Tina is a villain in the comic’s Runaways, and Hulu has announced a series for that show.
The Infinity Time Stone Is Featured
This makes sense because it was Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige who said they’ll “screw around with time.” There’s also Doctor Strange’s Cloak of Levitation and Eye of Agamotto, so wouldn’t it make sense that the latter contains the time stone?
There does look to be an object in the center of the eye on his necklace, yes?

Doctor Strange’s Life Experiences In Sync With The MCU
Feige spoke about how the Sorcerer Supreme would fit into all of this. Since it’s a solo movie, he says it is still integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, according to Zap2It.
“All these movies are connected, so they inhabit — as the comics did — the same universe. Like Ant-Man, Doctor Strange lives in a world where aliens came out over Grand Central Station. Again, he also is a brain surgeon. When he’s in the operating room, he’s not thinking about those other things. He’s working on what he’s working on.”
He then clarified more on the chronology.
“There are no rules. I think the majority of them will be chronological, but not all of them necessarily.”
Kaecilius Is Aligned With Dormammu
This is interesting because Kevin confirmed the Dark Dimension for the Doctor Strange movie, according to Newsarama. Of course, this is the realm of Dormammu and according to Feige, “glimpses” of it will be seen. In a recent featurette, Feige says Kaecilius “is interested in spilling the barriers between these dimensions.”
Rumor has it Kaecilius will have a larger role in future Marvel movies.
Doctor Strange Sequel Is Planned
After positive test screenings, according to Outer Places, there is a sequel planned with Benedict Cumberbatch and Chiwetel Ejiofor returning. Also, there’s a hint that Dormammu could be showing up as well due to a recent computer screen exposure at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con on the part of Community writer Dan Harmon. He was attempting to show Community news when a list appeared up on the screen and on it was “Strange Confronts Dormammu,” according to Movie News Guide.
Marvel Studios’ Casting Of The Ancient One
The leak mentioned that she was basically picked due to her unusual look. It was complicated due in part to the perceived stereotype, the association with Tibet, and the importance of the Chinese box office.
The Doctor Strange movie opens in theaters on Nov. 4.
