Is Gwen Stefani Moving To Oklahoma? The Star May Be Set On Becoming Blake’s Country Girl
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton continue to keep fans guessing about the future for the adorable couple. From baby rumors to engagement plans, we simply can’t get enough of the speculations surrounding the couple.
Most recently, news about the couple focuses on where they intend to build a home together, both literally and figuratively. It’s been reported that Shelton is in the process of building a gorgeous estate in Oklahoma for Gwen and her three sons, and the question is whether Gwen will actually consider making the move long term. Hollywood Life shares details uncovered about how Gwen feels when it comes to country life.

The publication reminds that Gwen and her sons had an absolute blast when they first visited Oklahoma in August. Gwen has fallen in love head over heels for Shelton and is said to feel entirely relaxed while at his ranch. An insider spoke to the publication about her love for Blake and Oklahoma.
“Gwen has completely fallen in love with country life. She absolutely loves Oklahoma and how at ease and relaxed she feels there. It’s starting to feel like home to her. She’s a California girl at heart, but is slowly becoming a country girl. She and Blake have had numerous discussions about living in Oklahoma with her three boys. For now though, Gwen wants to keep her home base in Los Angeles until she can figure out what would be best for her kids.”
The publication previously reported that Blake was creating the “ultimate home” for Gwen and the family in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. The mansion is reportedly of a Hawaiian style and located on the waterfront of Lake Texoma. The estate is around an hour from Shelton’s current ranch and seems as though it may be his wedding gift to the hollaback girl.
As to when the couple is planning to tie the knot, details remain to be verified, yet an insider shared that Gwen’s sons Kingston, Zuma and Apollo will play “big roles” in the nuptial ceremony. Stefani and Shelton are also said to be writing their own vows and “have been working on a love song that they plan on singing on their special day.”
Gwen and Blake have been going strong for nearly a year now and have been very open about their love for one another, sharing how they each found support while enduring difficult times during their respective divorce proceedings. The pair regularly gush over one another each time they are quoted by the media which truly indicates they have an unmistakable bond.

Back in April, Gwen chatted with Vanity Fair and admitted that she most definitely is in love, but that the best part of feeling supported and fulfilled means her creativity and ability to write true and heartfelt music results. To the question about whether or not she is in love, Stefani openly responded.
“Yeah, for sure. I don’t really want to go into that relationship, and God knows what’s going to happen. But I feel like I’m in an amazing songwriting place; instead of being closed off, I’m thinking about positivity and how I can do something creative. I’m just doing what I want to do. It’s so incredible to be in that zone. I’m always looking for the next song, and now I don’t have to be insecure or write about heartache.”
Gwen endured a difficult split from husband of 13 years Gavin Rossdale, after discovering an affair with the former couple’s then nanny. Shelton also experienced hardship in his split and divorce from Miranda Lambert. Although speculation arose early on that Gwen and Blake were an item, the pair did a good job of concealing their romance until fall of 2015.
