Jennifer Garner Shines At Premiere Of ‘Butter’

Jennifer Garner is earning rave reviews for her red carpet look at the premiere of Butter this week.

The actress appeared at the event, hosted by the Cinema Society along with DKNY, that also brought out leading ladies Olivia Wilde and Alicia Silverstone, The Huffington Post reported.

In Butter, Jennifer Garner plays a local woman who enters a competitive butter-sculpting contest. There she runs into a difficult challenger played by 12-year-old Yara Shahidi.

Though Garner plays an overbearing mother in the movie, the acress assured that she is not like that in real life, TheCelebrityCafe.com reported.

“I am not like her in any way, shape or form! It was just fun,” Garner said. “What was so great about playing this role was getting not to be myself. I’m sick of myself! I went totally the other way and I had a blast.”

The movie shows something of a trend for Jennifer Garner, who has three children with husband Ben Affleck. In The Odd Life of Timothy Green she played the surrogate mother to an mysterious boy, earning good reviews for the family friendly movie.

The 40-year-old Garner said she’s perfectly fine with her real-life maternal role, and isn’t looking to have any more kids, Us Weekly noted.

“I am not pregnant right now,” Garner said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “I plan to be done. But my husband is kind of a wonder sperm kind of guy.”

“You never don’t know,” she added. “You just have a look at him!”

Jennifer Garner can be seen in Butter, which is currently available on iTunes and On Demand. It is in theaters October 5. Her red carpet looks can be seen here.
