Jailhouse Interview: Teacher Convicted For Having Group Sex With Students Claims She Was The Victim [Video]

Brittni Colleps claims that she was victimized by the video which captured her in an all-out sex romp with her students. During a jailhouse interview the former Texas high school teacher admits that having sex with her students might be immoral, but that they were all consenting adults and the incident should not have prompted legal action. Colleps, 28, is a married mother of three who was convicted on 16 counts of having improper relationships with students. She was sentenced to a five-year sentence for having sex with her students.

Colleps was videotaped having sex with four of her students, while a fifth one filmed. During a jailhouse interview with 20/20, the convicted teacher claimed that the erotic video made without her permission makes her the victim in the scenario. The homemade group sex tape is considered by many to have been the most damning evidence against the teacher.

Brittni had this to say during her jailhouse interview:

“I felt like I was victimized in that video, because I did not, I never gave my consent for it. I’m not trying to say that it’s not wrong or immoral for a teacher to have a sexual relationship with her students, I’m not saying that. But I don’t think in this situation where they were legal, consenting adults, it should affect me or anyone else legally.”

During her trial jurors heard a myriad of salacious comments about the Texas teacher’s sex habits. One witness stated that Brittni Colleps had once described herself as an “anything goes in sex king of girl,” according to the New York Daily News. She also pointed out that she did not offer grades in exchange for anything with the students who were a part of the group sex video.

Brittni Colleps also claims that the students did not feel like victims when the sex occurred and don’t feel like victims now. Her husband, Christopher, is standing by her side and does not believe she deserves jail time. During the trial Christopher noted that the couple has a history of swinging – having sex with others.
