A Brad Pitt Cookbook Is On The Way

Brad Pitt is coming to a kitchen near you. The World War Z star, who is notorious for eating in films, is getting his very own cookbook.

Instead of focusing on Pitt’s flawless jawline or incredible physique, several compilers went through all of Pitt’s movies and created recipes based on his character’s eating habits. According to Allure, the cookbook is titled Fat Brad – The Cookbook and will be available to purchase in October.

One of the creators of the book, Fred Mora, of Long Prawn Cookbooks, explained some of the reasoning behind publishing a cookbook on the star.

“[We] loved the brilliant disparity between Brad’s on-screen penchant for shitty food and his god-like body,” Mora admitted. “It was only a matter of time before someone had to call him out on it, or rather, celebrate him for it; we wanted to be first to the plate.”

Fat Brad features an assortment of recipes, including Bellagio Shrimp Cocktail from Ocean’s Eleven, a seafood bisque from Fight Club, and Game Bird with Taters and Guinness Gravy from Snatch. Each recipe is arranged and tested by professional chefs, so fans can rest assured about their quality.

Of course, Brad Pitt has nothing to do with his new cookbook and has yet to comment on its release. Sadly, as Eater pointed out, the cookbook will not reveal any details about Pitt’s real-life diet and what he cooks for Angelina Jolie and the kids.

According to Paper Mag, the official publisher’s description reads as follows.

Fat Brad – The Cookbook is a definitive exploration into the on-screen eating habits of William Bradley “Brad” Pitt. Part fan fantasy, part filmic study, Fat Brad meticulously reimagines the best scenes where Brad chomps. From Rusty’s carpark burger in Ocean’s 11 to Tyler’s questionable Seafood Bisque in Fight Club, no plate is left unturned.”

Although the authors squeezed in a lot of recipes in the 50-page book, there were still some that they missed out on. They didn’t, however, forget to include plenty of great pictures from Ben Clement, including an image of the hearty roast Pitt chowed down on in Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

Speaking of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Pitt’s marriage with Jolie couldn’t be better. In fact, People reports that the couple is “as happy as ever” in their relationship and just celebrated their second anniversary.

“They really are great,” an insider told the outlet. “They’re really busy, but happy. The kids are getting so big! It’s hard to believe.”

Pitt recently finished two upcoming films, Allied and War Machine, while Jolie is wrapping up First They Killed My Father. Despite their busy schedules, the insider revealed that Pitt and Jolie still make time for the family.

“It’s a very busy time for both of them, but they manage the same way they always have, as a family,” the insider shared.

Jolie and Pitt have six children together: Maddox (15), Pax (12), Zahara (11), Shiloh (10), and twins Vivienne and Knox (8).

Apart from Jolie’s work in film, the actress is also involved in the United Nation’s refugee agency. Last year, Jolie spoke to the House of Lords in London on behalf of victims of sexual assault in war zones. She also supports several different charities that help people around the world.

When asked about working together on By the Sea, Jolie reflected on how it’s like living with Pitt as they grow older.

“Brad and I are fortunate because we see the beauty in each other’s changes,” she shared. “I’m more interested in his 50-year-old self than his 40-year-old-self. And then you look forward to even more years together.”
