‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason And Sam Are Getting Married, But Will It Really Go Off Without A Hitch?

Get ready General Hospital fans because there is a wedding at hand and it is one that has been a long time coming. Jason and Sam are getting hitched — again. The date to mark on your calendars is September 2 for one of the most anticipated weddings of the year, at least for those JaSam fans who will not want to miss a minute of it.

Jason and Sam have found their way back to each other and have taken their time to get to know each other all over again. After Jason was presumed dead and Sam went on to live without him, viewers thought that this moment would never happen but on Friday’s episode of General Hospital, this fan-favorite couple will begin their new lives together. The soap had posted a spoiler video on Twitter to get fans excited, and it certainly worked.

What do we know about the ceremony so far? As seen in the video clip, Spinelli is back in Port Charles just to officiate the wedding. Yes, Jason’s best bud will be marrying them in Sonny and Carly’s house. Remember that Carly had offered their home last week, and they accepted because when Carly offers, it is more like demanding, in her own sweet way, of course.

In what may be one of the most anticipated General Hospital weddings ever, Samantha will be wearing a sleeveless white Greek-style dress, which is a far cry from her usual jeans and dark tops that she wears quite often. She is looking radiant with her hair swept up and a huge smile on her face.

In addition to Sonny and Carly, there will be Sam’s mom and two sisters, Alexis, Kristina, and Molly, in attendance, as well as Michael. Alexis is expected to see her daughter get married, despite the fact that she has been dealing with Julian and hallucinating that he has gotten out of jail already.

This ceremony is a far cry from Jason and Sam’s first nuptials. They got married at a Chinese restaurant with no family around and wore t-shirts and jeans. It was a perfect fit for this couple back in 2011 when Steve Burton, aka Stone Cold, was playing the role of Jason. But now Billy Miller has taken over, and he brings a totally different side to Jason Morgan.

The old Jason was never one for anything fancy or wanted too much attention, but the new Jason has more of a sweet and silly side to him now. Sam has gotten to know this different personality and has fallen in love with him all over again. The two men are not the same, and that is what the writers were going for. Billy Miller had big shoes to fill taking over the role and General Hospital fans have seemed to embrace him and have loved to see him get back with Sam.

Even though most soap weddings are filled with drama such as shots fired or a dead spouse unexpectedly showing up, General Hospital has promised that the JaSam wedding will go off without a hitch. That is quite shocking, but then again Jason is now living life outside of the mob, so that shouldn’t be a problem. Also, it seems like Jason and Sam need some time being problem-free, at least for a few days because it looks like they will see plenty of drama soon enough.

According to General Hospital spoilers posted by Soaps She Knows, their after-wedding life will see them having to deal with family issues. It seems that they will be getting sucked into plenty of drama, but not by their own doing. Sam will most likely be dealing with her mom’s issues with Julian, while Jason may be trying to handle some Sonny and Carly fall-out as it is looking like having Nelle around will cause problems between them.
