Sonja Morgan Talks Dorinda Medley’s Supposed Cocaine Use: ‘I Hate A Liar’

Sonja Morgan knows that some things should probably be kept off The Real Housewives of New York, including some of her personal finances, her excessive partying and drinking a few years back, and her relationship with her daughter. However, Morgan had no problem calling out Dorinda Medley on last night’s reunion show over accusations that she’s doing drugs, more specifically cocaine. And the shocking part was that no one really came to Medley’s defense, saying that she didn’t do drugs at all. Now that the first part of the reunion is over, Morgan is opening up about her feelings about her co-star, sharing that she doesn’t appreciate liars.

According to a new Bravo report, Sonja Morgan is now revealing that she may still hold a bit of a grudge against Dorinda for leaving her out of the Berkshires trip, as she thought that Sonja’s drinking may get in the way of the ladies having fun. She’s continuously said that she was just trying to protect her friend, but Morgan feels that she was completely left out. Could she really have such a grudge that she felt that the best way to fire back would be to call Dorinda out on her supposed drug use?

“She was not protecting me. She was dividing me from my group. She should have been mediating and getting this worked out before it escalated. Friends nurture and help, we accept each other. I have accepted her as is from the beginning. She is a hot mess everywhere and at any occasion slurring her words and screaming, and I take her the way she is because I love her,” Sonja Morgan reveals in her blog for The Real Housewives of New York before diving into the drug-related content.

“Regarding who does drugs, drinks too much at parties, is an alcoholic, speaks inappropriately when not drinking, sleeps with married men or just for sex and not working towards marriage (aka friends with benefits/lovers), is the best in business, just enjoys their business, or has no business to really speak of, I don’t care. I just want to have a greeeeeaaat tiiiiiime with my friends and support their dreams and introduce them to good people,” Sonja Morgan writes in her blog, sharing that she supports whatever her co-stars decide to do with their lives.

Here, Sonja is clearly speaking to all of her co-stars, not just Medley. She’s pointing out Luann de Lesseps’ promiscuous behavior, Bethenny Frankel’s foul mouth, not working towards marriage with a man — which could be herself, being the best in business and people who are faking it to make it. But Sonja Morgan doesn’t appreciate it when her friends are lying about their behavior to save their names.

“However, I hate a liar. Be mad at me and confused about your feelings and a downright b***h, but speak your truth. Don’t manipulate the facts and be a hypocrite, because it always comes out in the wash. Nobody defended Dorinda regarding drug use and they party with her allllll the tiiiiiiime,” Sonja Morgan points out in her blog, according to Bravo.

According to PEOPLE, Medley’s drug use was brought up rather early on, and it sounded like all of the housewives knew about the drug use. Of course, her boyfriend John Mahdessian had talked about popping Viagra before and having sex all night, and with Dorinda frequently slurring her words and partying with friends, it wouldn’t be a shocking revelation.
