Kate Middleton Rumors: Duchess Kate And Pippa Middleton Are Both Pregnant, And Both Will Be Very Far Along At Pippa’s Wedding
Kate Middleton is facing rumors that she is pregnant again — and that her younger sister, Pippa Middleton, is expecting a baby at the exact same time.
The report of the Middleton pregnancies comes from OK! Magazine, which claims that both Duchess Kate and her sister will be having babies sometime in 2017, meaning that both will be pregnant at Pippa’s wedding. Duchess Kate was reportedly the first to find out that she is pregnant, with her sister Pippa learning a few weeks later that she and fiance James Matthews are expecting.
“Just a few weeks back, Kate discovered that she’s expecting another little princess, and the buzz in Pippa’s circle is that’s pregnant, too — with a little boy,” the report noted.
The news wasn’t as happy for Pippa Middleton, the report added, as she “will now have to endure whispers about whether hers is a shotgun wedding.” Beyond the perception of a hasty wedding, a source close to the Middleton family claimed it wasn’t a big deal for Pippa, as she and Matthews are “totally in love, and they were going to get engaged whether she was pregnant or not.”
Because Pippa and James are already so far in wedding planning, it may be too late to change the date, the source added.
“While both girls would ideally want time to recover from the births, Pippa’s ceremony plans may be so far along they’ll be heading down the aisle very pregnant,” the insider claimed.
There is still plenty of doubt to the report that both Pippa and Kate Middleton are pregnant. For one, the sisters have been a frequent target of tabloid reports that more often than not turn out to be false. For Duchess Kate, in particular, this is just one of many reports claiming that she is pregnant, including reports within the past few months that she is expecting twins.
Kate Middleton’s marriage is another hot topic for speculation, including recent rumors that she and Prince William are facing some big problems and could be moving toward divorce.
A source close to the couple allegedly shared news of the marriage problems to In Touch magazine, claiming that the two are in therapy to deal with their issues.
“Their issues are on an even bigger scale, and they’re constantly arguing at the moment about the pressure Kate is under, William’s attitude about it and how to raise their kids,” the source said (via Celeb Dirty Laundry). “They’re going through a very rocky patch.”
There is plenty of doubt about the latest report that Pippa and Kate Middleton are both pregnant. Gossip Cop, a website devoted to debunking celebrity rumors, claims that OK! magazine has a particularly bad track record when it comes to stories about Duchess Kate.

The report recalled how OK! magazine claimed in February that Kate was pregnant with twin girls, and then just a month later claimed that Kate and William were on their way to becoming queen and king, with no more mention of the report of twins.
“Gossip Cop has said this before and we’ll say it again: The magazine simply doesn’t have real, legitimate or authentic royal insiders. The U.S.-based publication will not be breaking the news of pregnancy for Kate or Pippa. We can confirm that neither sister is as expecting, as claimed above.”
If Pippa and Kate Middleton are really pregnant this time, it’s likely the news won’t stay quiet for long. With each of her last two pregnancies, Duchess Kate fell into ill health in the early months and needed medical treatment and even a brief hospital stay for dehydration, with the illnesses prompting the news of her pregnancies to leak out earlier than normal for Kensington Palace.
