Jennifer Aniston and her husband, Justin Theroux, may look happy from the outside, but according to a new report, their marriage is deeply troubled.
Following the couple’s one-year wedding anniversary earlier this month, a report has suggested that Aniston may be on the verge of a reunion with her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, who is allegedly also involved in a strained marriage with his wife of two years, Angelina Jolie.
“Jennifer Aniston is not lucky in love and she and Justin Theroux are not happy together,” the Movie News Guide explained to readers on August 31. “Some rumors also claim that Jennifer Aniston is back with his ex, Brad Pitt and this is also causing troubles in Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt relationship.”

According to the outlet, rumors may have begun due to Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s low-key anniversary celebration, which was reportedly not what Aniston had been hoping for. However, in June, Jennifer Aniston was spotted celebrating her one-year anniversary with Justin Theroux in the Bahamas months prior to their actual anniversary due to his filming duties in Australia, where he has been in production on HBO’s The Leftovers. While many reports have claimed that Jennifer Aniston was disappointed by her low-key anniversary celebration in August, the milestone didn’t go without notice by any means.
As fans of the actress may recall, her trip to the Bahamas was quite a hot topic due to her fuller midsection on the trip. After photos of the couple enjoying the ocean hit the web, sources claimed Jennifer Aniston was expecting her first child.
“She’s pregnant,” a friend of Jennifer Aniston and her husband revealed to In Touch Weekly at the time. “She and Justin are ecstatic. Jen has wanted to have a baby with Justin for years… Their baby news came at a bad time in her life, too. She just lost her mother, and she and Justin almost broke up. But now this surprise pregnancy has turned the worst of times into the best of times.”
While Jennifer Aniston appeared to be sporting a definite baby bump at the time, her rep quickly shot down the rumors, confirming to Entertainment Tonight, via the Daily Mail, that her client had simply had a big lunch and was enjoying her time with her husband on private property.

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux tied the knot last August at their home in Los Angeles surrounded by friends, family, and several celebrities, including Jimmy Kimmel, Ellen Degeneres, Courteney Cox and Portia De Rossi. Since that time, fans have been waiting on the edge of their seats for a pregnancy announcement.
Throughout Jennifer Aniston’s marriage to Brad Pitt, which lasted just about four years, rumors regarding their potential family planning continuously swirled, and when their marriage ended, it was reported that Aniston had put her career before her desire to get pregnant.
