Kendall Jenner’s Net Worth Just Doubled: Find Out How The Model Made It Happen

Kendall Jenner has been raking in some serious dough in the past year.

According to a new report, the 20-year-old model and Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has doubled her net worth in just one year’s time by partaking in numerous modeling assignments and continuing her role on her family’s E! Network reality series.

“[Kendall Jenner’s] total net worth is at least twice what it was at this point last year,” Starcasm shared with readers on August 31, “and it all began, fittingly enough, with the 2015 announcement that she made Forbes’ list of highest paid models for the very first time.”

At the time, Kendall Jenner was said to have made approximately $4 million from her modeling career. In the months since, Kendall Jenner has met a number of career milestones, including making an appearance in the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, landing the cover of the September 2016 issue of Vogue magazine, and raking in a whopping $10 million dollars.

Although Kendall Jenner’s 2016 modeling earnings are a far cry from Gisele Bundchen’s $30.5 million income, they are quite impressive for a new model, and when it comes to the future, things are looking promising. In addition to her ongoing modeling gigs with the likes of Balmain, Calvin Klein, Estee Lauder, Chanel and Marc Jacobs, Kendall Jenner also has a clothing line with her younger sister, Kylie Jenner, which has been named Kendall + Kylie.

Kendall Jenner has also continued to star in Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which recently shared details of her hectic life as a model. During an episode of the show, Kendall Jenner admitted to feeling lonely at times as she’s traveling the world and is often far away from her family, including her half-sisters, Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe Kardashian, and her mother, Kris Jenner.

Years ago, as she began her modeling career while filming Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kendall Jenner opened up about her famous on-screen persona and how she was planning to transition into a full-time model.

“I’m not trying to use a family name or anything,” Kendall Jenner said in a 2014 interview with Nightline. “In reality, I worked pretty hard for this… It wasn’t like I just got it magically and it just happened.”

In fact, as Kendall Jenner explained, she actually felt as if she had to work harder to be taken seriously in the industry due to her reality show roots and famous family. So, when it came to associating herself with the Kardashians, Jenner chose to drop her last name, and she and her family agreed that they would not be seated front row as she walked in fashion week shows.

“It was more of a mutual understanding,” Kendall Jenner explained. “I remember getting a phone call from Kim… ‘I just wanted to let you know, I just got an invite to the Marc show. I don’t think it’s a good idea that I go. Do you agree?’ And I was like, ‘I completely agree’… She obviously is who she is, and it would’ve almost taken the attention away from me.”

Although Kendall Jenner has been accused of banning her famous family from attending her modeling gigs, she told Nightline that was not the case, but she admitted that she preferred that they steered clear of her working life.
