Flo Rida IRS Woes: ‘Wild Ones’ Rapper Hit With $1Million Tax Bill

Miami rapper Flo Rida has reportedly just been hit with a tax bill for over $1 million from the Internal Revenue Service.

Rida, whose real name is Tramar Dillard, is accused of falling behind on payments to the IRS for money earned in 2009 and a tax lien was filed against him in a Miami-Dade County court in Florida on September 7. According to the paperwork obtained exclusively by Gossip Extra, Dillard owes the IRS approximately $1,040,777.45 in unpaid taxes.

In response tax lien, Flo Rida’s lawyer, Reginald Mathis, said the matter is being looked in to and and will be resolved as soon as possible.

“The accountants are checking into it,” Mathis is quoted by Gossip Extra as saying. “We know there were some issues with the year 2009, international expenses and the likes. Whatever Flo owes, he will pay. But I’m confident it’s not $1 million!”

Flo Rida’s latest tax woes come just months after he was fined $7,000 for lying to a judge about mistreating and underpaying a former employee.

The rapper is also reportedly being sued over an outstanding bill for a home security system and was recently ordered to pay $432,704 to the organizers of an Australian music festival after he reportedly failed to show up as scheduled.

In other news, Flo Rida debuted the music video to I Cry on Friday. I Cry, the fourth single released from Rida’s Wild Ones album, is a follow-up to previous hits Good Feeling, Wild Ones, and Whistle.
