Christina Hendricks’ Body Praised By British Equalities Minister, Teases Upcoming Movie And Miniseries


Christina Hendricks, the American actress, made a name for herself in Hollywood by playing the lively and high-spirited Joan Holloway in Mad Men, AMC’s drama series that was set in the 1960s. The actress’ work in the series has been highly-appreciated and has seen her nominated for six Emmy Awards for playing the role in the series throughout its seven seasons. Additionally, her work in Mad Men enabled Christina Hendricks to win other prestigious awards like the Golden Nymph Award, a Critics’ Choice Television Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

Even though she has earned a name for herself as a talented actress, Christina Hendricks always aspired to be a model. In fact, the 5-foot-7 actress initially moved from Virginia to New York to pursue her dream of becoming a model.

Christina might have transitioned to becoming a full-fledged actress, however, she still earns accolades for her beauty, grace, and hourglass physique. According to The Inscriber Magazine, Lynne Featherstone, the British Equalities Minister, has praised Christina Hendricks for her physique, one that can serve as a benchmark for other women who strive to develop a voluptuous figure.

Despite the audience’s fixation with her physique, the actress went on to deliver a stellar performance in Mad Men, and it will be difficult for fans to easily shrug off the memory of Christina’s Joan Holloway. And even though the series has concluded, Christina Hendricks was happy to take up the opportunity to reunite with one of her Mad Men co-stars to promote a worthy cause. According to Just Jared, Christina Hendricks attended the 2016 Crab Cake LA Fundraiser along with January Jones, her Mad Men co-star.

Christina Hendricks was later joined by host Ben Feldman to enjoy the Maryland crab party that was being hosted on the West Coast. The I Don’t Know How She Does It actress’ reunion with her former co-star helped to draw attention to the event which aimed to raise money to help homeless and low-income citizens to become self-sufficient.

Christina Hendricks might have gained fame and popularity through her work in Mad Men, however, the actress is still aiming to achieve even greater heights by experimenting with different roles in different movies. After playing a cameo role in Zoolander 2, Christina Hendricks is due to play major roles in several upcoming film projects.

Bad Santa 2, Christina’s upcoming movie, will be released in November, while Tin Star, a Western miniseries, is already in production. According to Radio Times, Christina Hendricks will be joined by Tim Roth and Genevieve O’Reilly as her co-stars in the western television series that narrates a story of revenge, deception, and betrayal.

The miniseries tells the story of a police chief who takes up the fight against organized crime that is being promoted by an oil company, headed by Christina Hendricks’ character. Currently, the Dark Places actress and her co-stars are stationed in a beautiful mountain town nestled in Canada’s Rocky Mountains.

Apart from showcasing her acting skills in Tin Star, Christina Hendricks will be seen featuring in The Angel Makers, a romantic movie whose story revolves around the women of England’s Yorkshire Moor. The movie is set in the backdrop of World War II and Christina will be playing the leader of the women who enlist German POWs after their men go to foreign land to fight the enemy. According to Fans Share, the Emmy-nominated actress will be joining a diverse ensemble of actors that include veteran actors like Emily Watson.

Although it is speculated that the movie will be a major commercial success, the producers are yet to comment on the shooting schedule of the film whose script is yet to be written. However, it has been speculated that filming may begin in 2017, allowing Christina Hendricks’ fans to possibly see their idol in the upcoming romantic drama in 2018.
