Ruby Rose, The Ambassador For New Makeup Brand, Asks Margot Robbie For Strand Of Hair To Add To Her DC Comics Collection

Ruby Rose, the multi-talented Australian celebrity, is the newest face of the Vice Lipstick Range that was launched by Urban Decay, the American cosmetics brand. Ruby is considered to be a perfect brand ambassador for the cosmetics brand that was established in the 1990s to achieve a breakthrough in the lipstick market with its unique products.

Just like the cosmetic brand, the openly gay Ruby Rose is famous for being a “beauty rebel” due to her innovative androgynous style of dressing. Earlier, the model had also flaunted her 70-odd tattoos that showcased her colorful spirit.

News Australia reports that Ruby Rose revealed her admiration for the Urban Decay brand which expresses its cosmetics products in a unique fashion.

“It’s such a cool, cutting-edge makeup line that promotes individuality. It has that rock-star chic vibe.”

The new lipstick that is being endorsed by Ruby Rose will be exclusively launched in Mecca stores across Australia. Ruby’s popularity as an MTV VJ helped her to achieve success as a model when she was featured in Marie Clare, Vogue, and Nylon. The John Wick 2 actress has also endorsed Maybelline New York in her native Australia. In fact, the brand also launched a new line of “color tattoo” makeup to target customers who share Ruby’s love for tattoos.

Apart from her modeling stints, Ruby Rose has also enjoyed being an accomplished actress by featuring in Orange Is The New Black, a Netflix television series.

Now, the talented actress will be increasing her ever-growing footprint in Hollywood by playing key roles in mainstream cinema. According to News Australia, Ruby Rose will be seen acting in upcoming films, including Resident Evil: The Final Chapter and XXX: Return of Xander Cage.

Her upcoming film projects will give Ruby Rose the opportunity to realize her dream of becoming an actress by working alongside Hollywood stars like Vin Diesel, Keanu Reaves, and Milla Jovovich.

Today, her face may be seen flashing on a large Billboard in New York’s SoHo district, but life hasn’t always been easy for Ruby Rose. Apart from being a victim of intense homophobic bullying in school, the model is also known to suffer from bouts of depression. In fact, she has previously been admitted to a rehabilitation center to help her to cope with her depression.

Additionally, she found it difficult to pursue her primary passion of acting in Australia as she had already established herself as an MTV VJ. Later, Ruby moved her base to the USA where she featured in Break Free, a short autobiographical film that depicts Ruby as a blonde female who transforms herself into a short-haired male.

The video became extremely popular on social media for addressing issues surrounding gender fluidity, expression, and belonging. The film not only enabled Ruby Rose to express her inner self but it also helped her to grab the attention of Jenji Kohan, the creator of Orange Is The New Black, who offered her the breakthrough role in the television series.

Despite her global outlook, Ruby Rose believes in helping and supporting fellow Australians. The model is highly impressed with the way Americans scaffold their professionals to reach greater heights. Keeping up with her beliefs, Ruby Rose is looking up to well-established Australian actresses for inspiration. In fact, she is a big fan of Margot Robbie, who recently played Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad, the latest movie from the DC Comics franchise.

The Around the Block actress is a self-confessed DC Comics fanatic, and she is following her passion by stocking up collectibles and memorabilia that are related to the popular franchise. According to Time magazine, Ruby Rose has already managed to collect three popular comics related to the Harley Quinn character.

However, Ruby’s fanatic heart is craving more as she has expressed her desire to not only lay her hands on other popular Harley Quinn comics but also on some of Margot Robbie’s hair. According to News Australia, Ruby Rose tweeted her bizarre request along with a photo that showed bits and pieces of her DC Comics collection.

When Margot Robbie did not respond, Ruby retweeted her request and this time her second tweet was liked by more than 4,300 fans.
