Rumored Celebrity Dancers
According to a previous report from the Inquisitr, fans may see Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher and Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice introduced as part of the Season 23 cast on Tuesday morning’s GMA.
Fansided reports that all signs point to Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson as one of this season’s celebrity dancers with speculation that he’s the NFL star pro-dancer Lindsay Arnold is partnered with.
Arnold revealed on Instagram that her partner was born in Georgia, wears a size 15 shoe, and “has played his entire football career for the same team.”
“Johnson was born in Newnan, Georgia. He spent his entire NFL career as a wide receiver for the Lions and, given his size and stature, it’s incredibly likely that he wears a size 15 shoe. While there may be other NFL greats who also fit this bill, Dancing with the Stars has long sought after high-profile, fan favorite players such as Johnson.”
A source tells ET that Beverley Mitchell (7th Heaven) is “in talks” to join the show. Pure DWTS speculates that actress Marilu Henner (Taxi) will be part of the cast and she may be partnered with Derek Hough.
Although the celebs and their partners won’t be officially confirmed until Tuesday, if the Dancing with the Stars cast list above turns out to be correct, fans are in for a fantastic season of ballroom dancing.
