Anderson Cooper Allegedly Wants To Go For Round 2 With Teresa Giudice

Anderson Cooper apparently does not like being called a bully, and is allegedly eager to coax Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Teresa Giudice, back onto his show. After the reality show star appeared on the broadcast on Wednesday, Cooper was accused of aggressively questioning Giudice, the Examiner notes. Despite the testy exchange between Giudice and Cooper (or perhaps because of it) the episode prompted a nice jump in the show’s ratings.

Bravo’s Real Housewives of New Jersey viewers either love, or love to hate, the fiery Italian momma. An Anderson Live production team staffer told Radar Online that a seat is open and ready for Teresa Giudice as soon as she is willing to return. The RHONJ cast member has been accused of being a publicity seeker at least a time or two, so she is likely to accept the invitation.

The Radar Online source had this to say about the Giudice drama with Anderson Cooper:

“Anderson wants her back as soon as possible, he feels there’s still a lot of ground they can cover. He also feels kind of bad for tearing into her and not really giving her a chance to tell her side. I think round two will give Teresa more of a platform to express herself, and there will be less of an attack on her.”

The showdown between Giudice and Cooper, who happens to be a good pal of Bravo’s Andy Cohen, began when the pair started to discuss the RHONJ reunion show. The talk show host sounded a bit like a chastising parent when he reprimanded Teresa about insulting comments made to other cast members. He also scolded her for behaving like a 12-year-old child. Fortunately for Anderson, Teresa kept her notorious temper in check and the table between them did not end up in his lap.
