Adele Snubs Dinner Invitation From Kardashians As Kris Jenner Might Film It For ‘KUWTK’

As one of the most sought-after personalities in the music industry, one might think that Adele snubbed the Kardashian family’s dinner invitation simply because she felt like doing so. However, a recent report by the Mirror detailed that the British artist refused to visit the clan’s home thinking that she might be filmed by the Keeping Up With the Kardashians crew.

The “Hello” songstress might have fancied the show before, but it does not mean that she wants to be a part of it. During one of her performances in Los Angeles, the 28-year-old told the audience about her fascination for watching KUWTK reruns while she was pregnant with son Angelo.

Kendall Jenner is a fan of Adele too. She previously attended one of her shows and shared a video of Adele’s performance on Instagram.

“I’m in awe (and tears) over Adele. I LOVE HER! ok bye,” read the caption.

According to the publication’s insiders, Kendall is “smitten” by Adele, that’s why she was really excited to host an intimate dinner for the “Someone Like You” hitmaker. Family matriarch Kris Jenner, on the other hand, didn’t want to waste the opportunity.

“Kendall has been pushing for her to come to dinner as she is smitten by her. She loves her talent and thinks she is a really funny woman. And now the family are on board, Kris feels it would be amazing for Kim and Kanye to give Adele an LA welcome and insiders’ knowledge after she bought a place here. Of course Kris, as executive producer on the E! series, knows that getting the dinner on TV would be viewing gold.”

The source added that, “Adele is not sold on that idea. She hasn’t ruled out a dinner another time – it’s just a reality show isn’t for her.”

Recently, Adele agreed to perform at the upcoming nuptials of a couple who captured her attention during her show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Adele noticed the couple because they were “dancing literally like there was no one else.” She invited the two onto the stage and had a conversation with them.

The couple took the chance to invite the Grammy winner to their nuptials next year, and much to their surprise, Adele agreed. One half of the couple joked Adele about her rate.

“Don’t worry, I’ll do it for free. I’ll do it for you for free,” she responded.

“If I don’t make the wedding for some reason or another, have a wonderful day, won’t you? Congratulations and I hope you’re together for the rest of your lives,” she added.

Adele also surprised another fan who wasn’t able to attend her concert. When she asked two members of the audience to join her on stage, one of them told Adele that her girlfriend failed to attend the show for being sick. She offered to video call the girlfriend to cheer her up.

Adele was left with no choice but to cancel her Phoenix show this month because of sickness. She apologized through an Instagram video. She said that even if she pushed through with the show, she wouldn’t sound good because of her cold. The gig’s schedule was pushed to November.

Apart from the invitation of the Kardashians, Adele similarly turned down an offer to headline next year’s Super Bowl. Some websites cited “stage fright” as the reason but during one of her recent gigs, a fan video showed Adele revealing the reason behind her decision.

“First of all, I’m not doing the Super Bowl. I mean, come on, that show is not about music. And I don’t really… I can’t dance or anything like that. They were very kind, they did ask me, but I said no.”

The Super Bowl will take place in Houston next February.
