Amanda Bynes Pleads ‘Not Guilty’ To Hit-And-Run Charges

Troubled actress Amanda Bynes has pled not guilty to charges stemming from two counts of hit-and-run.

The two counts were both filed after the actress was allegedly involved in two separate car accidents in April and August. Bynes was charged with both of those accidents in early September. The April 10 hit-and-run occurred just days after the actress had been arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.

In both cases Amanda Bynes alleged smashed into other vehicles and then sped off from the scene of both accidents without exchange insurance information.

The first hit-and-run case was originally shut down by prosecutors however after the second case popped up they reopened the first and bundled the two together.

If convicted on two cases of hit-and-run Amanda Bynes could serve up to one year in jail. The actresses case will move forward on October 19.

Bynes is currently also awaiting a court date for her DUI arrest and for two charges of driving on a suspended license.

Amanda Bynes did not appear in court on Thursday, instead allowing her attorney’s to enter her please. The actress was spotted shopping until she dropped in New York City.

In the meantime Amanda Bynes couldn’t be bothered with a court date yet she seems to have plenty of time to fight with fellow train wreck Lindsay Lohan on Twitter. The two women have repeatedly been calling one another out for their equally stupid actions.

Do you think Amanda Bynes needs to serve some jail time to get her head on straight?
