Last season on The Walking Dead, the zombies were more grotesque and decomposed. While this will still happen in Season 7, Robert Kirkman revealed a small TWD spoiler. It turns out that zombies won't just walk around, but will be used in "more interesting ways."

Possible spoilers for The Walking Dead Season 7 might be ahead. Do not continue reading if you don't want to risk knowing what could happen on AMC's apocalyptic television show.

Not only will they still pose a threat in The Walking Dead Season 7, but they will be used in some creative ways. One example of this is how Negan and the Saviors use them. To guard their property, they are lined up outside the Sanctuary, which is the Saviors' home base. Besides them being chained, what other ways will walkers be used when TWD returns with Season 7?

According to The Spoiling Dead Fans, a casting notice was issued for a leader named Brion. Some fans are wondering if this is a code for Alpha, who is in charge of the Whisperers in Robert Kirkman's comic books. There is a lot of debate on this. Some believe the character descriptions are similar. Others believe it is too early for Alpha to appear. When it comes to the Whisperers, they do put reanimated heads on sticks. Also, the group is known for dressing up like walkers and strolling around with the undead.

"They are there. And they are going to be used in more interesting ways. Greg Nicotero and his team at K&B have come up with some really amazing advances in how they are dealing with this stuff. So there's going to be some really cool new zombies. And we're going to go in a different direction for that stuff, too."

In a special clip for The Walking Dead Season 7, Daryl (Norman Reedus) fans freaked out when Dwight was seen with Dixon's bike and vest. Many assumed this meant that Daryl dies in TWD. However, a major spoiler like that would not be revealed. It seems more likely that Daryl is being kept prisoner or was forced to give up his belongings in order to save someone else from death.
