Texas Father, Davie Dauzat, Allegedly Beheaded Wife And Put Her Head In The Fridge [Video]

A Texas father, Davie Dauzat, is now in custody after doing the unthinkable. According to local police, 23-year-old Davie Dauzat beheaded his 21-year-old wife, Natasha, earlier this week. Fox 13 Now reports that he then stored her decapitated head in the refrigerator of the family’s trailer near Waco, Texas, and remained in the home with the couple’s two children, ages one and two.

Authorities reportedly responded to a call that originated from Texas father Davie Dauzat’s mobile home park early on Thursday. Whoever placed the call told Texas law enforcement that Dauzat had killed his wife. When police got to the scene, Davie Dauzat had reportedly barricaded himself inside the Bellmead mobile home. Also in the trailer with the Texas father were his two young children.

The situation reportedly got so bad between local police and the Texas father that a hostage negotiator had to be called to the scene. Because of the report of extreme violence and the fact that there were two tiny children in the home with Davie Dauzat, police used extreme caution to bring the standoff to a non-violent end. Ultimately, Davie Dauzat surrendered and exited the premises.

According to police at the scene, Texas father Davie Dauzat was “covered in blood” when he came outside.

As KWTX reports, two calls were made to Texas law enforcement by Davie Dauzat’s somewhat estranged brother. The first call was reportedly made around 8:20 a.m. local time, August 25. At that point, local police responded to the address because they’d gotten a call from the brother (whose name hasn’t been released), asking deputies to “locate and speak to Davie” because the brother was “concerned about Davie’s well-being.”

Texas law enforcement went to the Texas father’s trailer and spoke to both Davie Dauzat and his wife, Natasha Dauzat. At the time, police said that the couple appeared calm and there was no indication that they were fighting, arguing, or otherwise in any kind of distress. Following the conversation, the police left the scene.

“There was no indication from Natasha or Davie that either of them was in distress or in need of police intervention at that time. They both appeared calm and expressed their curiosity why the police were there.”

According to the brother, he had some concerns about Texas father Davie Dauzat because Davie reportedly hadn’t spoken to the him or the pair’s mother “for months.” However, between Wednesday and Thursday, Davie Dauzat called both his brother and his mother, and during his conversations reportedly asked some “funny questions” and made “weird statements.”

Funny and weird enough to inspire his unnamed brother to call law enforcement to do a welfare check on the Texas father.

“His brother informed dispatch he was not sure if his ‘weird statements’ and ‘funny questions’ were drug related. When asked if (Davie Dauzat) was threatening anyone, his brother said ‘no.'”

Heartbreakingly, just over two hours after local police left the home that Davie and Natasha Dauzat shared, they got another frantic phone call. Again, the phone call came from Davie Dauzat’s brother. This time, at around 11 a.m., he told police that he had once again been contacted by Davie.

According to the brother, this time Davie had confessed to him that he had just killed Natasha.

Officers returned to the Texas father’s home. They knocked on the door, and when Davie answered, he was reportedly bloody. He then slammed the door in the faces of the responding police and locked himself and his children inside the residence.

Officers from Bellmead and other local Texas communities responded by evacuating nearby residents and setting up a perimeter. After a few hours, they were able to convince Texas father Davie Dauzat to surrender peacefully.

Police have officially refused to comment on the nature of Natasha Dauzat’s injuries or how she was killed. However, sources within the local police departments have told the media that she was decapitated and her head was found in the family’s refrigerator.

“We appreciate your patience with what will be a lengthy process through the investigation and continue to support and respect the family in this traumatic and tragic time.”

The two small children who were found in the home have been taken into state’s custody. Texas father Davie Dauzat was arrested and reportedly charged with murder; he is currently incarcerated in McLennan County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
