Terra Jole Of ‘Little Women: LA’ Joins ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ Hints Mark Ballas May Be Her Partner

Little Women: LA star Terra Jole is reportedly bringing her big personality to the Dancing with the Stars ballroom for Season 23 of the ABC dance competition.

According to Entertainment Tonight, a source has confirmed that Terra is joining the DWTS cast just weeks after giving birth to her second child. However, the reality show star’s only challenge won’t be taking on a grueling training schedule while caring for an infant son; she’ll also have to overcome a big height difference between herself and her partner.

Terra Jole is probably best known for starring on the Lifetime reality shows Little Women: LA and Little Women: Terra’s Little Family. According to Us Weekly, she and husband Joe Gnoffo welcomed their second child, Grayson, on August 1. He’ll only be a little over a month old when Dancing with the Stars starts, and Terra also has a 16-month-old daughter, Penelope, to take care of.

“Life is going to be hectic with two babies under the age of 2, but there’s nowhere else I’d want to be than in our little family,” Jole told People.

Well, maybe she also wouldn’t mind spending some of her time training with a DWTS pro. PureDWTS speculates that four-foot-two Jole may be paired with Sasha Farber, who has some experience dealing with a height difference. According to USA Today, he competed with four-foot-eight Jersey Shore star Snooki during Season 17. Snooki said that she wanted their team name to be Team Shorty because they were “the shortest couple to compete” that season.

However, Terra Jole has only started following one Dancing with the Stars pro on Twitter, and that pro is Mark Ballas. According to BuddyTV, Mark’s shortest partner was five-foot-10 gymnast Shawn Johnson. They took home the Season 8 Mirrorball Trophy.

Terra will still be the shortest contestant to ever compete on the show, so her height will present a unique challenge for whoever her partner turns out to be. However, the reality show star describes herself as “a born entertainer,” and she has plenty of experience performing live in front of crowds. According to Radar Online, Terra was one of Miley Cyrus’ backup dancers during her “Bangerz Tour.”

“One night in Vegas, we had a big dance party. Miley’s a great dancer, but I can shake my butt better than her. I’ve got a lot of junk in my trunk!” Jole said of partying with the pop star.

Terra also made a name for herself by working as a Britney Spears impersonator so she’ll surely want to perform to one of the pop star’s songs on Dancing with the Stars. However, the Little Women: LA star didn’t create her “mini Britney” persona because she wanted to imitate Britney Spears’ dance moves.

“Ever since I was a little girl I’ve wanted to be a singer and when I created mini Britney it wasn’t because I wanted to be a miniature version of Britney Spears, it’s because I wanted to sing for a living,” she told OK! Magazine.

Terra Jole has also performed as “mini Gaga” and “mini Cher,” so she shouldn’t have any problem becoming different characters for her Dancing with the Stars performances.

Other rumored Dancing with the Stars Season 23 contenders include Disney star Jake T. Austin, model Amber Rose, and General Hospital star Emma Samms. People has also confirmed that Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte is in talks to compete, and E! News reports that musician Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds has signed on for the show.

The pros who will be competing for the Mirrorball Trophy include Chmerkovskiy brothers Maks and Val, Emma Slater, Sasha Farber, Witney Carson, Artem Chigvintsev, Allison Holker, Lindsay Arnold, Gleb Savchenko, and Sharna Burgess. According to Just Jared, Mark Ballas actually has not been confirmed as a Season 23 pro.

Dancing with the Stars returns September 12 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. What do you think of Terra Jole’s addition to the cast?
