Kendall Jenner Jimmy Kimmel: Late Night Show Host Informs Model Her New Neighbors Didn’t Want Her To Move In

Kendall Jenner stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday for an interview with her new neighbor, Jimmy Kimmel. Jenner recently bought her new house for $6.5 million from John Krasinski and Emily Blunt who moved to New York City with their two daughters. The house just happened to be right across the street from Kimmel, yet the two haven’t interacted.

“I heard you’re a chef, and I want you to make some food for me,” Kendall requested. “I’m really offended you haven’t invited me over yet for a welcome to the block kind of thing.”

“Are you allowed to eat when you’re on the cover of Vogue?” Kimmel joked.

Jimmy finally caved and gave Jenner a “pity invite” to dinner, but then he dropped a little bit of a bombshell on Kendall as he told her that her new neighbors were not exactly happy to have her as a member of the neighborhood.

“Our neighbors were up in arms when you moved onto the block. There was a whole thing with emails that went on,” he said. “It was bad!”

Jenner then admitted to Kimmel that it likely had to do with her stalker. As TMZ reported, Kendall Jenner’s stalker, Shavaughn McKenzie, waited for Kendall to arrive at her new Hollywood Hills home on Sunday night. When Jenner arrived home, McKenzie followed her car inside the gate, banged on her window and yelled, “Can I talk to you?”

Jenner began screaming despite McKenzie telling her, “Hey look, I don’t have a gun” as he showed her his empty hands.

According to the police report, this was the second time that McKenzie has camped out in front of one of Jenner’s dwellings as he once chased after her car and ran into traffic at her condo. As a result, McKenzie has been charged with misdemeanor stalking and Kendall’s lawyer has secured a restraining order against him.

Kimmel then told Jenner that somehow he’s getting blamed for her moving into the neighborhood.

“The neighbors all seem to blame me for this development somehow,” Kimmel noted.

Kendall Jenner then informed Jimmy Kimmel that she had a discussion with her mother, Kris Jenner, and has decided that she would put Jimmy in charge of her safety in her new surroundings.

“‘Maybe if anything ever goes does go down, he’ll save my life,'” Kendall told her mom.

“I’m the captain of the neighborhood watch!” Kimmel quipped. “Don’t worry, I’ll shuffle down in my underpants and take care of whatever is going on.”

Aside from her new living situation, Kendall’s reason for appearing on Kimmel was to discuss her appearance on the cover of the September issue of Vogue. Somehow, Jenner said she was able to keep the news a secret from all but two of her family members — Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian.

“The whole family is famous. I can’t imagine how embarrassing it would be to not be famous in your family,” Kimmel said. “But when you share news like the Vogue magazine for instance, do you have to tell them right away, before it’s announced? Do people find out from other sources?”

“This I really wanted to keep a secret from everyone,” Jenner replied. “I think my mom was the only one who knew. I slipped up on Kim. I told Kim … I wanted it to be a surprise. Not only for everyone but also my family. I just wanted it to be super special.”
