‘RHONY’ Dorinda Medley Talks Taking On Bethenny Frankel And Those Yolanda Hadid Rumors

Dorinda Medley hasn’t always seen eye to eye with Bethenny Frankel.

During her time on the Real Housewives of New York, Medley and Frankel have gotten into a good share of arguments. Although Medley isn’t afraid to stand up for herself, she takes a different course of action when it comes to Frankel.

Medley recently sat down with People and admitted that, when fighting with Frankel, it’s a good idea to diffuse the situation and walk away before things get out of hand.

“Sometimes Bethenny talks at you and not talks to you,” she explained. “And I think it’s very difficult – you just want to get away from it. ‘Make it stop – whatever you say is right, I just want to go! You’re right, you’re right – okay!'”

Medley butted heads with Frankel on several occasions this season.

At the start of Season 8 of RHONY, Frankel attacked Medley’s boyfriend, John Mahdessian.

Medley was surprised by Frankel’s confrontation and is determined to keep things a little more private moving forward.

Medley will also butt heads with Frankel during the Season 8 finale.

In fact, Medley’s upcoming fight with Frankel is her biggest yet and she isn’t looking forward to watching it on TV.

“I’m nervous again just watching it again,” she admitted. “I swear to god, I’m sweating again!”

Medley was taken off guard by Frankel’s latest argument, which went down during Frankel’s Skinnygirl party.

“I’m coming to a party [Bethenny’s] hosting for her brand, and I was taken off guard,” she explained. “You think you’re just going to come and enjoy the evening and all of a sudden you’re put into a position where you’re backed into a corner and you’re trying to figure out what she’s saying!”

Despite Dorinda Medley’s feuds with Frankel this season, she doesn’t have many regrets about how things turned out. Even after being branded Dorinda Meddler by Bethenny and Carole Radziwill for all of her pot-stirring.

Instead, the reality star is happy to be relevant on the show and believes she always had the best of intentions, even when things turned sour.

Meanwhile, Reality Tea is reporting that Medley likes the idea of infusing new blood into the hit reality show. In particular, Medley thinks that former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster would be a great addition next season.

“I think she would be a perfect fit,” Medley revealed. “She is a mother. She’s a grownup. She’s gone through a lot of different things personally and in her marriages and stuff.”

Rumors about Foster’s casting on RHONY have been making rounds in recent weeks.

According to People, Medley believes that adding someone like Foster into the mix might help resolve some of the feuds on the show, but only if a few of the other ladies drop out.

While producers have yet to announce anything official on the matter, Medley revealed that she has no idea what is going on behind the scenes.

“People don’t realize this, but we kind of find out almost at the same time as you find out,” Medley shared. “I don’t know if I’m gonna do next season. You don’t know!”

In reflecting back on the drama this season – which included Medley’s embarrassing moment during LuAnn de Lessep’s engagement party – the reality star explained how her role evolved into something different this season.

“We all kinda took on these strange roles this year,” she stated. “It took us to places that I never thought we would go. It’s really not [scripted]. It really evolves and you react to it, and you kinda define your role willingly or unwillingly.”

The Season 8 finale of the Real Housewives of New York is set to air Wednesday night on Bravo.
