Adam Kenworthy Doesn’t Really Watch ‘RHONY’: Avoids ‘The Dramatic Sides Of The Show’

Adam Kenworthy has become a regular star on The Real Housewives of New York, because of his relationship with Carole Radziwill. When fans first met Carole, she was single and she was working on her writing career. She had a book in the works, and she would often write to meet her deadlines. However, last year during a visit to Luann de Lesseps’ home in the Hamptons, she ran into Adam. The two quickly started dating, and they have been inseparable ever since. So, how does Kenworthy feel about being on a famous show and sharing his life with the world every week?

According to a new Bravo report, Adam Kenworthy is now revealing that he doesn’t really fit into the Real Housewives of New York demographic. In fact, he doesn’t seem himself as the perfect fit for the show. However, he understands that he joined the show when he started dating Carole, who had been on the show for a few years at the time. Shockingly, Adam doesn’t actually watch the show.

“You know, I’m not like a regular Housewife viewer; I see myself from time to time. It’s interesting but I feel like it’s pretty easy and natural. I guess, maybe at times, it’s weird to see yourself on camera, to hear your voice. Everybody has that unless maybe they’re an actor or actress or reality star that’s used to it,” Adam Kenworthy reveals in an interview with The Daily Dish about his role on The Real Housewives of New York.

It sounds like Carole and Adam don’t have viewing parties at home every Wednesday, where they sit down, cuddle up and watch the week’s episode, and then live tweet with fans. Instead, it is possible that they just treat Wednesdays like any other day and avoid watching themselves on television. While Adam does reveal that it is fun to be on a reality show, he doesn’t like to get involved with the drama that’s been unfolding on the show.

“But it’s fun and I don’t really get involved in any of the dramatic sides of the show. I’ve never been kind of an issue with that. I think I’m pretty respectful to everyone. I think my relationship with Carole shows on camera, which I think is important for people to see, as I’m sure a lot of viewers are curious as to what our relationship is like. So, I think, people probably get to see that and it’s probably pretty natural what they see,” Adam Kenworthy points out, possibly hinting at the drama that unfolded last year with Luann de Lesseps.

When fans first met Adam, he was working as a personal chef for Luann in the Hamptons. Carole was surprised to meet him, and they quickly started hanging out. Within a few weeks, they were spending lots of time together. Sadly, Luann didn’t quite support their relationship, as she thought that Radziwill had stolen him. He had previously dated Luann’s niece, and she wanted to protect her family. According to Bustle, the drama continued this season, as de Lesseps had no plans of apologizing for her behavior. However, Adam Kenworthy managed to stay out of the drama.

As for being noticed, people are starting to recognize Kenworthy when he’s out in public — and they do recognize him without Radziwill. However, he admits that people recognize Carole much more often than him.

“I have noticed there’s more people that recognize me on the streets,” Adam Kenworthy has revealed about being noticed in public, according to Bravo, adding, “Obviously, when I’m with Carole it’s really easy for people to connect the dots.”
