Dorinda Medley Reveals Whether Luann And Thomas’ Marriage Will Last After Cheating

Dorinda Medley has been very surprised by the whole cheating scandal that has rocked Luann de Lesseps’ world on The Real Housewives of New York. Even though she was the one who introduced Luann to Thomas D’Agostino, she was surprised to learn that he may have been busy behind her back, making out with another woman at the Regency Hotel in New York while de Lesseps was planning their engagement party in New York.

While many viewers only see red flags in regards to her relationship with Thomas, Luann doesn’t seem to care. And now, Medley is sharing her thoughts about this couple and whether they will survive the drama.

According to a new Bravo report, Dorinda Medley has been a huge supporter of Luann and Thomas, especially since she was the one who brought them together. But even Dorinda may not be willing to forgive infidelity. If it was John Mahdessian in D’Agostino’s place, she may not be so willing to forgive him and then marry him just months later. What does Medley really think about their relationship?

“My take on their relationship, it’s their relationship, and that’s what I feel like people should respect,” Dorinda Medley revealed during an interview with People, according to Bravo. “You go through things, we’ve all made mistakes. I’m a forgiver. I am. And I just think it’s up to what Luann and Tom choose to do.”

It sounds like Dorinda Medley is very supportive of her friends, as they continue their relationship. Even though she might not have done the same thing, she understands that de Lesseps and Thomas love one another and that he may have made a mistake. He has publicly said that there was a misunderstanding and that he admitted to making out with another woman. He deeply regrets hurting his future wife, but she seemed very eager to forgive him.

“They love each other, the marriage is on, the save the dates are out, and it’s all about going forward,” Medley continues in the interview, adding, “I don’t want to talk about the past anymore. I think it was such a difficult thing to not only go through at the time but to now relive again. I’m trying to respect her privacy and support them both.”

Even though Medley understands why her co-star may have forgiven the man she is going to marry of cheating on her, she doesn’t understand why Bethenny Frankel shared the news about the cheating the way she did. In fact, Dorinda Medley believes that it could have been done without the Real Housewives of New York cameras, and she could have done it without telling Ramona Singer and Carole Radziwill about the information first.

“I think that it was very sensitive information. I would have probably handled it differently,” Dorinda Medley has revealed about the way Bethenny Frankel told Luann about the picture she had received of Thomas making out with another woman. “I probably would have told them right away. I wish she had come to me, and you’ll see a little bit of that. I wish she had gone to Lu directly, and I think it was difficult to watch it play out over the weekend. That was the difficult part for me.”

It is very interesting that Medley is dishing her thoughts about this cheating scandal. On this season of the show, Dorinda has been labeled as the pot stirrer because she’s been at the center of so much drama. And rather than look behind her, Dorinda Medley is looking ahead. According to Reality Tea, Medley is excited at the possibility that Yolanda Foster could join them next season.
