Taylor Swift And Tom Hiddleston Are Breaking Up? New Songs May Be Coming Soon
Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston are facing rumors of an impending breakup just over two months into their relationship.
On August 24, a report by the Movie News Guide claimed that the couple, who were only together in an effort to generate buzz for Taylor Swift’s upcoming album, have broken up.
“Taylor Swift has evidently parted ways with boyfriend Tom Hiddleston just months after they started dating. Swift-Hiddleston romance has apparently ended just as swiftly as it started, and no one is really surprised,” the outlet revealed to readers.
Movie News Guide went on to claim that Taylor Swift’s decision to unfollow her boyfriend on Instagram seemingly confirmed the breakup. However, Taylor Swift hasn’t actually unfollowed Hiddleston at all, and since a short time after he joined the social media network earlier this month, she has been listed as one of his many fans.

Another report, shared by Parent Herald on August 23, mentions Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston’s love affair and asks, “Is it really over?” According to the report, the couple, who were previously enjoying a whirlwind romance, haven’t been spotted together in two weeks and appear to be on completely different continents.
Days ago, as Hiddleston continued to film Thor 3 in Australia, Taylor Swift shared a SnapChat story which featured the singer doing some gardening at her parent’s home in Rhode Island.
Prior to Taylor Swift’s venture to Rhode Island, she was seen without Hiddleston as she enjoyed a friend’s birthday party in New York City. She was also seen around the same time as she tended to a few errands in the Big Apple.
As rumors swirl in regard to Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston’s possible split, fans can’t help but wonder if breakup tracks are coming soon. Because it is suspected that Swift may release a new album by the end of the year, she is likely working on new songs now — and there is a good chance that those tracks will be inspired by Hiddleston. That said, only time will tell whether or not the new songs will be love anthems or breakup tunes.
When it comes to why Taylor Swift and her boyfriend may have called it quits so soon into their relationship, one outlet claimed the reason behind the alleged split was the unwanted attention Hiddleston had been receiving.
“Taylor Swift has been causing a lot of stress to Tom Hiddleston,” Game N Guide alleged. “Sources have claimed that the [Thor] star is not used to the attention that he has been getting since dating Calvin Harris’ former flame.”

As fans wait for more information in regard to what is really going on between Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston, buzz continues to swirl about her potentially upcoming album and Hiddleston’s involvement. Weeks ago, prior to the breakup rumors, a source claimed Taylor Swift had been using her boyfriend as a muse.
“Tom’s love has been great for [Taylor Swift] and he has been a great source of creative energy for her,” an insider told Hollywood Life. “He listens to all her musical ideas and has been encouraging her as she writes new lyrics for songs — and she has lots to write about. The whole process has been easy for her as long as Tom is around. He really has been a new muse for Taylor.”
Taylor Swift has not yet confirmed plans to release a new album in 2016. However, as the outlet pointed out, she has debuted new albums every two years for the last several years, and her latest compilation, 1989, was shared in 2014.
