Luann De Lesseps And Thomas: How He Blamed Alcohol To Get Out Of Cheating Scandal
Luann de Lesseps kept seeing the positive in her relationship with Thomas D’Agostino. She kept saying that she had found her soulmate and was super happy. Her Real Housewives of New York co-stars couldn’t understand why things had to be rushed so quickly. Even though they had only known each other for a few months, Luann had already gotten engaged and picked out her wedding date. And she simply didn’t care that Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer had dated him. Additionally, it sounds like Thomas’ recent cheating scandal at the New York City’s Regency hotel doesn’t matter either.
According to a new Radar Online report, Luann de Lesseps was quick to confront Thomas after the cheating scandal was revealed to her. On last week’s episode, Bethenny Frankel brought her aside and told her about the picture she received in the middle of the night a few days prior. Frankel thought about telling her, but Luann was just so happy in her relationship. Even though Luann left the room after learning of the affair, she eventually saw the picture in question and called her future husband.

“Bethenny just sent me the picture, Tom,” Luann yelled at Thomas over the phone after she saw the picture that Bethenny had received, adding, “You have no recollection? What does that mean? You were so wasted you don’t remember? It started at 10:45 and it went until 12:39!”
D’Agostino claimed that he was so drunk that he didn’t remember spending any time with another woman at the Regency hotel in New York. And when she called him out, he revealed that she had briefly kissed him and that it was a misunderstanding. But since Luann de Lesseps had the time stamps, he had a hard time explaining his behavior.
“How can you do this?” de Lesseps says over the phone to him, adding, “What do you mean you don’t remember? You were that drunk? I left and then you went out. So they all know. The whole town knows about it now!”
“She was giving you a kiss? You were making out for an hour!” she yelled back at him.

These days, it sounds like Luann de Lesseps has forgiven Thomas for his cheating ways. He has previously revealed that it was a misunderstanding and that he has done something in the past that he deeply regrets. But he has never actually admitted to cheating on her in public. One can imagine that this will come up at the Real Housewives of New York reunion.
“Bethenny told everyone that she got a video of Tom kissing another woman behind LuAnn’s back,” a source has previously revealed about the situation, according to Radar Online. “Luann was shocked and heartbroken, but she decided to stay with him.

Oddly enough, Luann’s behavior these days doesn’t reflect the heartbreak she felt at the time she learned about the cheating scandal. Instead, she strongly believes that someone was trying to set her up to humiliate her.
“Obviously the person taking the photograph had an agenda and was all too happy to share that information with my “buddy” Bethenny. Her motivations are questionable to me at this point. Was I hurt when I found out that she had a photo of Tom and a girl at the Regency? Yes I was. I was devastated to the point of not knowing what to do next,” Luann de Lesseps wrote on her Bravo blog for The Real Housewives of New York.
