Shannon Beador’s Marriage: Did The Vow Renewal Change Anything With David Beador?

Shannon Beador was shocked when she learned that her husband, David Beador, had been carrying on an affair with a married woman. Shannon demanded that he break things off with the other woman, who she had seen on occasion around Orange County. David was determined to make things work with Shannon, and she was determined to not become a statistic in Orange County. The divorce rate is high, and she didn’t want to become a part of that group of people.

According to a new Bravo report, Shannon Beador has worked hard on getting her marriage back on track, and she admits that her husband’s efforts were pretty spectacular on last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. In an effort to surprise her, David had invited all of their friends to a surprise party that also served as their vow renewal. As it turns out, Shannon’s birthday plays a special role in their relationship.

“My birthday is a significant day for David and I. On March 24, 1999, David proposed to me,” Shannon Beador explains on her blog for Bravo, adding, “We got married in Rancho Santa Fe where I grew up and the fact the David chose the same venue of our wedding for the surprise vow renewal was even more touching!”

Beador reveals that she knew that the proposal was going to happen, because the store where David had purchased the engagement ring had left a voicemail at their home, saying that the ring was ready to be picked up. In other words, the proposal wasn’t a complete surprise, but it was something Bedor was thrilled about.

While they were headed to the party, Shannon Beador noticed that her husband was nervous and flustered. Many Twitter fans believed that David was hiding something, and when the surprise party was revealed, it was clear that he had been keeping a big secret.

“I can honestly say I have never seen David so flustered and nervous! And now I understand why! To plan such an extravagant event and keep it all secret was amazing!” Shannon Beador reveals on her blog, sharing that she was super thankful for everyone who came together to celebrate her vow renewal in an effort to really solidify her marriage.

Have things really changed since the vow renewal ceremony? As it turns out, Shannon’s family broke down while watching the renewal because it meant that they could all start over again after the affair. As Shannon has previously revealed, her children were the ones who first discovered the affair, so it makes sense that they are along on this journey as a way of healing.

“I wanted to freeze time on this very special night! So much happened in just a two hour period! I just wanted to soak it all up! I am so blessed that my children were able to witness the love that their father and I have for each other. They told me that they were fighting back tears of happiness the entire night! They finally broke down and cried when we watched the episode together! I am so grateful that one of the most incredible nights of my life was captured on film and that we all can watch it over and over again,” Shannon Beador explains on her blog for The Real Housewives of Orange County.

It is awesome to see that Shannon knows how to have fun, as she’s been plagued with drama over the past couple of episodes, including her recent meltdown with Kelly Dodd, according to the Daily Mail.
