Kanye West Bans Kim Kardashian From ‘Saint Pablo Tour,’ Thinks She’ll Be ‘A Distraction’
Kim Kardashian isn’t a welcome distraction when Kanye West is on tour.
New reports are claiming that West is actually contemplating asking Kardashian not to join him when he launches his “Saint Pablo Tour” later this month because he believes his wife will be too much of a “distraction” and will bring “extra stress” to life on the road.
“Despite Kanye adoring her like there’s no tomorrow, he’s not too excited about her joining him,” an insider close to Kim and Kanye told Hollywood Life of West’s big tour plans. “[Kim’s] going to be a distraction more than anything.”
And it sounds like it’s Kardashian’s seemingly never ending social media sharing that’s potentially got her crossed off the tour guest list.
“[Kim’s] going to be live streaming, taking selfies and she’ll be backstage bothering Kanye before he gets on stage, when all he wants to do is get in the zone before performing,” the site’s insider continued of why Kardashian may be blacklisted and potentially even banned from Kanye’s “Saint Pablo Tour” entourage.
But it’s not just Kim’s constant tweeting, Instagramming, and Snapchatting that’s supposedly got West worried ahead of his August 25 opening night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
According to sources who spoke out about Kim’s alleged tour ban, West also doesn’t want to worry about all the attention that follows Kardashian wherever she goes.
“[Kim will] be in a private VIP section but even still, dudes are going to approach her and talk to her and try to holler at her,” the insider admitted of Kim. “Kanye doesn’t need any extra stress while he’s on tour and Kim could potentially be just that.”
Earlier this month, Kardashian revealed that she would actually be giving away free tickets to a number of her husband’s upcoming shows, which will see him on the road around the U.S. until November, telling fans on her official website that she would be giving away a pair of tickets to every concert.
“It’s almost here: Kanye is kicking off his Saint Pablo tour later this month!!! Get ready for the most insane contest ever on my app!!!” Kim told fans on KimKardashianWest.com on August 12, clarifying that she was “awarding tickets to every stop on the ‘Saint Pablo tour.'”
“For my subscribers only, I’ll be awarding two tickets to every stop on Kanye’s tour,” Kardashian continued. “The contest starts next week, so make sure you’re a subscriber to be eligible before it’s too late! The tour kicks off in Indianapolis, Indiana, August 25!!!”
While we’ll have to wait and see if Kim does in fact make the cut when it comes to Kanye’s upcoming tour, Kardashian has been a staple at a number of West’s tour dates in the past.
E! News even reported back in 2013 that Kim actually invited a fan to come and sit with her during West’s “The Yeezy Tour” stop in New Orleans, Louisiana, almost three years ago.
The sweet gesture went down at one of Kanye’s shows after a fan tweeted Kardashian to see if she could meet her during the show.
Kardashian then responded to the fan’s message, telling her that she was sending someone to bring her to the exclusive VIP section to sit with her to watch West’s concert, after which she enjoyed a private meet and greet with both Kardashian and West.
