Mariah Carey Throws James Packer’s Computer Out A Window After Fianceé Played A Beyonce Song To Get Her In The Mood

More than a year into his relationship with Mariah Carey, James Packer is still learning new things about the pop diva. Just recently, the billionaire learned one hard lesson about romancing his fiancé, and that is not to play other songs by other pop divas when he’s trying to get her in the mood.

A source told TheFix that Packer, 48, recently played Beyonce’s smash hit “Crazy in Love” on his computer for Mariah Carey to “get her in the mood,” The billionaire’s romantic gesture, however, produced the opposite result, as “Mariah threw the computer that was playing it via speakers out the window,” the Mirror reports.

“To get her in the mood last month, he turned on [Beyonce‘s signature smash] “Crazy in Love”, and oh boy, was that a disaster!” the insider told TheFix. “Mariah threw the computer that was playing it via speakers out the window!

“Seriously, just trashed it. She ran out of the room screaming. So the night was obviously finished for James, and they retreated to separate parts of the house. And she had a few glasses of wine to cool down,” the source added.

Packer nearly committed the same mistake again just recently, this time with one of Jennifer Lopez’s early hits, “Waiting for Tonight.”

JLo’s “Waiting for Tonight” has long been a staple song for couples who want to “get in the mood,” but it’s different when it comes to dating Carey.

According to a source, Mariah “coughed out her courgette at dinner” when James started to “put on five bars of “Waiting for Tonight.” It’s a good thing that Packer recalled his past transgression as he reportedly “made a bee line for the Spotify and immediately put on Mariah’s greatest hits!”

“He has learned never, ever to play another female artist in the house. It’s either Mariah, jazz or classical!” added the source.

Mariah Carey has long been notorious for her diva-like antics, the most famous of which was when she repeatedly said “I don’t know her” when asked numerous times about Jennifer Lopez. To her defense, Mariah clarified in a guest appearance Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live in May that she knows of JLo but that she doesn’t know her on a personal level.

Carey also admitted in the interview that she can be forgetful.

“You know what? I’m very forgetful,”Mimi said. “Apparently I’m very forgetful…If I had never had a conversation with you and someone asked me about you, I’d be like, ‘I don’t know him, but he seems cool,’ or, ‘I don’t know him.'”

On top of telling the host that she doesn’t know JLo, Carey also threw some shade at Nicki Minaj when she was asked to say three nice things about her former American Idol co-host. “Can you?” she asked the host.

On top of being the “queen of shade,” Mimi has exhibited diva-like behavior many times in the past.

Back in 2005, Carey asked that a red carpet lined with white candles be laid out for her before entering a hotel. The hotel’s management was happy to indulge her. After all, she rented 15 tooms at a cost of £20,000 a night.

After accepting a role in the low-budget, independent film Tennessee, Mariah was told that she’d have to travel on an economy-class air ticket. She agreed, but bought every other economy-class seat on the plane.

Carey is also notorious for her tardiness. Once upon a time, she arrived 90 minutes late for the Capital Radio awards just because she broke a fingernail. At a Save The Music benefit show in 2008, Carey forced organizers to delay the show for an hour so they can accommodate her schedule.
