Adam Levine And Wife Behati Prinsloo Goof Off On Snapchat As They Await Their Baby Girl’s Arrival

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo are staying active on social media as they await the birth of their first child.

As Adam Levine continues to film for the upcoming 11th season of The Voice, he and Behati have been keeping up with the events of the Olympics. After feeling inspired by the swimming competitions, they both shared a photo of a Snapchat post from Prinsloo in which the model was seen with goggles and a swimming cap.

“Thanks for everyone’s support,” read the caption of Prinsloo’s post.

“A message from my number one swimmer!” Adam Levine wrote in his re-post.

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo began dating in 2012 but parted ways just one year later. However, after a brief stint apart, during which Levine was linked to model Nina Adgal, who is currently dating Leonardo DiCaprio, he and Prinsloo got back together and were engaged a short time later. Then, in July 2014, they tied the knot in Mexico surrounded by close friends and family members.

Immediately after tying the knot with Prinsloo, Adam Levine expressed his desire to start a family.

“I want to have 100 kids. I want to have more kids than would be socially responsible,” Adam Levine told Ryan Seacrest during an appearance on his radio show in 2014, according to a report by Us Weekly. “I don’t know when we’re going to do it. We can’t do it right now. I think it’s absolutely in the works for some future date.”

Around the same time, Prinsloo revealed she was hoping for a big family as well.

“I’ve always wanted a family since I was a little girl, a big family,” she explained to the Lowdown’s Diana Madison, via Us Weekly. “I’m an only child so I wanted like 10 kids…for sure.”

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo’s baby news was first shared earlier this year. In late March, Levine confirmed the news on Instagram with a photo of his two favorite Lakers fans: Behati and their unborn baby. In his photo, Behati was seen in a bikini with her growing baby bump on full display.

Since confirming the news of Prinsloo’s pregnancy, Adam Levine has been busy at work with The Voice Season 10, which wrapped filming earlier this year, and Season 11, which began filming weeks ago. Luckily, Prinsloo has close friend Candace Swanepoel to lean on.

Within weeks of Prinsloo’s pregnancy announcement, her fellow model, Swanepoel, revealed she was also expecting her first child with longtime partner Hermann Nicoli. A short while later, Swanepoel revealed she was expecting a boy.

Along with a photo of herself and Swanepoel weeks ago, Adam Levine’s wife wrote, “Still can’t believe me and my African sis are expecting at the same time…So many good times together and so many more to come. LOVE YOU… double trouble.”

Behati Prinsloo is currently about 36 weeks pregnant.

While there have been rumors swirling for the past several months that claim Adam Levine may be parting ways with The Voice after wife Prinsloo gives birth, which will happen sometime in the midst of production on Season 11, Levine has not yet made any official announcements. Although cast members on the show have come and gone in the past, Adam Levine and co-star Blake Shelton have remained on the show in full-time roles since the series began.
