Happy Days star Erin Moran, who played the popular character of Joanie Cunningham, appears to have hit rock bottom. Photos of the 51-year-old actress posted by Radar Online show a rough-looking shell of a once attractive woman.
Moran was reportedly sharing a mobile home at a trailer park with her mother-in-law and husband Steve Fleischmann. According to Radar Online, a rift concernng the Happy Days star’s hard partying habits prompted her mother-in-law to kick her out of the mobile home. The photo of the haggard and cigarette smoking woman barely resembles the image of the once smiley, and seemingly always perky actress.
Several weeks ago Erin Moran and her husband were seen a few weeks ago outside a Holiday Inn Express in Indiana with their dog. The former television star is allegedly blowing through the cash Happy Days cast members recently won in a settlement with CBS over merchandise revenue.
An Enquirer report about the struggling former actress reads:
“On several occasions the hotel management warned Erin to curb her unruly behavior. But they finally had enough of her temper and demanded that she immediately leave the property.
If rumors about are correct,Erin Moran is homeless. She and her husband reportedly are knocking around from hotel to hotel and do not have a permanent roof over their heads. Before appearing in the hit 1970s sitcom, she appeared in How Sweet It Is with Debbie Reynolds and James Garner. She was also played an orphan on the DAKTARI television show. In the Joanie Loves Chachi spin-off show, she showcased her singing abilities in each episode, according to Moran’s website.
