‘Teen Mom OG’ Dad Ryan Edwards Makes Instagram Private After Baby News, Animal Cruelty Investigation

Ryan Edwards of MTV’s Teen Mom OG announced he was expecting his second child earlier this month. Now, ahead of tonight’s Season 6 premiere, his Instagram account has been made private.

For the past couple of weeks, fans have been waiting to hear more details about Edwards’ potential second child and who the mother may be. However, rather than elaborate on his exciting news, Edwards chose to delete his Twitter announcement and remain silent in regard to any further information.

While Ryan Edwards had gone radio silent on Twitter immediately after tweeting and deleting a message that read, “I’m gonna be a dad again,” his Instagram account remained active up until it came time for the Teen Mom OG premiere.

Since posting the message, Ryan Edwards hasn’t said a thing about his potential child, and the mother of his first child didn’t seem to know anything about Edwards’ news. In fact, she hinted during an interview with OK! Magazine that Edwards may have been playing a trick on his fans and followers on Twitter.

“I have no idea if it’s true or not. But to be honest, I can definitely see it being true, and I can definitely see it just being Ryan trying to screw with everyone,” Bookout explained.

During the same interview, Bookout confirmed her ex-boyfriend, Ryan Edwards, had been invited to her upcoming wedding to Taylor McKinney, which is expected to take place in Tallahassee, Florida this fall.

Earlier this year, after traveling to Los Angeles to film the Teen Mom OG reunion, Ryan Edwards debuted a new relationship with Jordan Brown and Bookout addressed the romance on the show. Then, while Edwards played coy about his romance, choosing to stay quiet when asked about his girlfriend, Bookout said she enjoyed Brown, although she had only just met her.

While Ryan Edwards’ relationship with Brown appeared to be a success in the weeks that followed the reunion, they ultimately parted ways and Edwards quickly erased all traces of Brown off of his social media pages.

In other Ryan Edwards news, the reality star is currently being investigated by police and the Humane Educational Society for animal cruelty. According to a statement released by the Humane Educational Society, via the Ashley’s Reality Roundup, a full-scale investigation has been launched against Ryan Edwards after he shared horrific photos of dead cats on his Instagram page and told fans he shot them.

After authorities in Tennessee obtained a search warrant, they arrived at Ryan Edwards’ home last week and “gathered enough evidence to continue their investigation.”

“Other things that we have found on the property definitely lead me to believe that this was done with intent…at this point it’s safe to say that he was luring the animals onto his property to kill them,” Bob Citrullo, the director of the Humane Educational Society, told WDEF News.

In addition, the Humane Educational Society released a statement in regard to the reality star’s behavior on its Facebook page, which read, “The organization does not take Edwards’ claims lightly and has every intention of seeing the former reality star prosecuted to the full extent of the law if his horrific statements are found to be true.”
