TLC Adds ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’ HOLLAday Episodes


TLC hasn’t renewed its surprising hit Here Comes Honey Boo Boo for a new season but the channel has ordered a few more episodes.

It’s unclear how many more episodes TLC has ordered but Entertainment Weekly reports that fans of Honey Boo Boo and her redneck family can expect a few holiday episodes.

Amy Winter, general manager of TLC, said:

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo has become a pop culture phenomenon. What you see is what you get and we are excited to share even more of Alana and her family’s unbridled hilarity, sincerity and love with our viewers.”

Entertainment Weekly reports that the HOLLAday specials will include a Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas episodes.

The finale for the first half of season 1 airs tonight on TLC. The one hour special will show Alana as she prepares for another pageant.

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo has been a surprise hit for TLC. The show has averaged more than 2.3 million viewers during the first half of its first season. Due to the success of the show, Alana and her family have reportedly been asking for more money. It’s unclear if they’ll be getting a pay raise for the holiday episodes.
