Courtney Stodden Sighting: Sobs On The Beach, Then Shops For Wigs

Courtney Stodden is going through some turbulent times right now. The 21-year-old recently suffered a miscarriage back in July. Now, she has gone through the process of grieving and healing while in the public eye.

Of course, that’s not going to stop the paparazzi from taking photos of Courtney Stodden. The model was seen drinking champagne and crying on the beach as she was comforted by her husband Doug Hutchison, 56. According to The Sun, the blonde starlet wore a red and black string bikini with a matching bandana tied around her head.

The actor was seen kissing and comforting his wife as they sat together in the sand. Courtney had mascara tears running down her eyes. Other photos of the reality star showed her drinking in the ocean and relaxing in the sun. Two weeks ago, Courtney shaved off her long blonde locks as a “symbolic gesture,” according to a report via People. She took to Instagram to post some photos of her new look.

“I’ve been thinking and I have decided that I want to give back to my angel with a symbolic gesture,” Stodden is heard saying in a clip. “That, to me, is shaving my hair off because I want to step into this new chapter in my life fresh and new.”

In a follow-up Instagram post, the actress is seen wearing a cheetah print bikini with a matching headscarf showing off her new buzzcut.

“New chapter,” Courtney captioned the post.

Since then, Stodden has been wearing a wide variety of headscarves and wigs to change up her look. On Saturday, Aug. 21, Stodden decided to shop for some more colorful wigs at Wigs Today in Los Angeles, according to the Daily Mail. She appeared to be in better spirits when she showed up to the store in a plunging sage green dress and a pink fur wrap.

Courtney finished off her look with false eyelashes, white shadow, pink lipstick, and a pink turban, according to the tabloid report. Courtney sat in the chair as she got to try on various colorful wigs and hairpieces. At one point, the starlet tried on a fire engine red wig featuring fringe. But, she settled for a light pink wig that matched her fur wrap and high-heeled pumps.

In a recent interview with TooFab, Stodden explained how she made the shocking decision to let go of her signature blonde locks.

“I was absolutely resolute in my decision, but – once the clippers turned on – reality took hold and I was extremely terrified. I’m fine. Don’t worry about me, I’ll be okay. I love you all and cherish your support and love.”

Courtney’s husband, Dough Hutchison, totally supports her decision to change into her “new chapter.”

“He loves me and, after the haircut, he hugged me and told me that I’m beautiful,” she gushed to the outlet.

After making her appropriate wig choice, Stodden decided to drink while listening to some ‘NSYNC.

Stodden has been outspoken about her personal tragedy on social media, even penning a letter to her unborn child.

“I never get a chance to hold your tiny hand. Never will I get to kiss your warm little feet,” she wrote in an honest and raw letter posted to Instagram. “Never will I have [the] fortune to look into your precious eyes.”

Courtney Stodden and Dough Hutchison married in 2011 when she was just 16-years-old, and he was 50. With her racy fashion choices and over-the-top personality, Stodden made headlines and was dubbed a “teen bride.” The couple split in 2013 but then reconciled after appearing on VH1’S Couple Therapy. Stodden and Hutchison announced back in May that they were expecting their first child.
