Warning: This article may contain spoilers for Season 2 of Scream Queens.
Early Scream Queens details are emerging, and those reveals suggest there may be some major life changing events in store for at least two of the main Scream Queens leads. First comes some exciting news for Emma Roberts fans, as photos may indicate that her Chanel Oberlin character may have finally found the one. No, not the perfect pair of shoes, though they may accompany that white, lacy dress. Meanwhile, Lea Michele appears to be going a different route toward achieving commitment, as her prison jumpsuit seems to indicate.
Scream Queens Star Emma Roberts Seen In A Telltale White Gown
Is Chanel Oberlin getting married? That seems to be the indication, as leaked photos from the Scream Queens set show Roberts wearing a lacy white dress and with a production assistant carrying the train, as shared by International Business Times. The assistant was on hand to help Emma move from set to set and back to wardrobe, so the dress wouldn’t be ruined by the Scream Queens star’s movements on the Pasadena, California set.
The dress isn’t the only indication that Chanel Oberlin will be a hitched woman on Season 2 of Scream Queens. Pink slippers, a pair of pearl earrings, a pearl encrusted belt, and a huge wedding ring complete the outfit and all indicate that Roberts’ on-screen hubby is someone of considerable wealth. Sounds like Chanel Oberlin finally hit the jackpot.
The identity of the mystery groom may have been leaked by Emma herself, when she leaked possible romantic story arcs with either Dr. Brock Holt (John Stamos) or Dr. Cassidy Cascade (Taylor Lautner) in the second installment of Scream Queens. Marrying a doctor would certainly fall in line with Chanel’s style and her ambition for her life’s direction, as indicated in Roberts’ Season 1 Scream Queen scenes with Glen Powell (as Chad Radwell).
Scream Queens Introduces Hannibal Hester
Hannibal Hester comes to town, or to Scream Queens at least! #screamqueens #jamieleecurtis @screamqueensfox #johnstamos #taylorlautner #screamqueensfox #screamqueensseason2 #emmaroberts #arianagrande #billielourd #abigailbreslin #leamichele #kekepalmer #emmaroberts #chaneloberlin #hospital #bloody #emergencyroom #hanniballecter #hannibalhester
If you love Scream Queens, but you weren’t a fan of Lea Michele’s Hester Ulrich, there’s some bad news coming your way, courtesy of the latest Scream Queens teaser, as shared by Movie Pilot. Michele will definitely be back as the villainous Hester and, while her prison jumpsuit indicates Hester may be out of action for at least some portion of Season 2, Michele’s character is making the most of her time behind bars. Presenting her own take on Thomas Harris’ cannibalistic villain, Lea Michele has already been dubbed as Hannibal Hester.
Michele is even seen sporting the famous Hannibal Lecter mask in this early Scream Queens promo, further cementing the idea that Hester’s mental state will be shakier than ever. Perhaps if Dr. Cascade and Dr. Holt spent as much time treating her as they do flirting, Michele’s Scream Queens villain might come out of this with a small bit of her sanity intact.
In any case, the correlation between Hester and the Silence of the Lambs serial killer may indicate a prison break is imminent for Lea’s character. If so, will Hannibal Hester finally go after those Kappa House girls she missed the first time around? If so, Hester’s first target will sadly have to be Cathy Munsch, who now runs the hospital where Hester will find her victims working. While Jamie Lee Curtis, who plays Munsch to perfection, is a fan favorite and an idol for Scream Queens co-showrunner Ryan Murphy, that by no means guarantees that Curtis’ character is safe from getting the ax.
Once Munsch is out of the picture, if this is the direction Season 2 of Scream Queens will take, it may be a free for all bloodbath, courtesy of Hannibal Hester.
Season 2 of Scream Queens is set to premiere on Tuesday, September 20 on Fox.
