The ‘True’ Story Of Melania Trump — Crazy $4.99 Book Gets Amazon Backlash, Calls For Removal

There is a book about Donald Trump’s wife that is getting plenty of backlash. It begins with a ludicrous title — and seems a complete work of fiction, even though the book’s author listed the book in the “Biographies & Memoirs” section of Amazon’s Kindle store. As such, some Amazon customers are calling for the retail giant to remove the book purportedly about Melania Trump.

The book opens with a photo of a fresh and round-faced “young Melania.” It claims to be the true story of Melania. As reported by the Daily Mail, the book, titled From the Whore House to the White House, is listed on Amazon as having an author named Adam Schlecter — a man that the publication couldn’t track down.

Schlecter’s book about Melania, which is priced at $4.99 for the Kindle edition on Amazon, sure is raising a ruckus about Mrs. Trump. The title printed on the cover of the Kindle book even misspells “Melania” as “Melanie” — and with 18 customer reviews thus far, the book uses a standard stock photo of a woman’s nude torso — not Melania’s nude photos — that Amazon offers their Kindle book publishers in their book gallery photos.

Some of the reviews call for Amazon to remove the book that purports to be an expose about Melania.

The 18 customer reviews for the book claiming to reveal Melania’s history average out to 2.1 stars out of a possible five stars. Most of the reviews are ones that give the book about Melania only one star — and don’t have the “Verified Purchase” that Amazon gives those products that the customer actually purchased.

Some of the reviewers admit that they haven’t read the book or purchased it, while others call it garbage, sad, disgusting — or contrarily, interesting. Overall, most of the customer reviews agree that the book about Melania is not nice.

“This is a hit piece on Melania and the Trumps. Points out some before and after pictures of some cosmetic surgery Melania, Ivanka, and Donald Jr. might of had. I didn’t get the impression that any whore housing was going on beyond possibly sleeping with powerful or connected men for status or opportunity. A stretch in the title. A weird claim of Donald having a wig made of endangered monkey hair and ox pubes. And then whammo nude photos of Melania in the back of the book. So if you are reading in a public place BE WARNED. NUDITY IN THE BOOK. Pathetic!”

Whereas the brutal customer reviews about the book — which was published on Amazon on May 9 — call the book evil, the book’s description explains that Melania’s own website text was the one that was that was written about Mrs. Trump by talented writers, prior to Melania’s site being taken down.

“The Melania Trump website contains a pile of lies composed by talented writers hired by Donald Trump. Accordingly, Melania Trump announced Thursday, July 28, 2016, that she took down her website, acknowledging that it contained inaccuracies. This book throws back the curtain on the life of the poor, communist raised, woman from Yugoslavia now known as Melania Trump. How did Melania come to New York and how did she meet and marry one of the richest men in New York, Donald Trump?”

The introduction of the book goes on to call the biography of Mrs. Trump, which was once found on MelaniaTrump.com, a piece of fiction. There is also a paperback version of the book, which enjoys the same title, From The Whore House To The White House: The True Story of Melania Trump. That version is priced at $14.99, with a publication date of May 31. The two customer reviews on the paperback version of the book average out to three out of five stars, as of this writing.

Oddly, there is also a book titled A Communist in the White House, the True Story of Melania Trump with a publication date of March 22, listed on Amazon with the same author, Adam Schlecter, which is currently out of print.
