Viewers can watch the 2016 Rio Olympics closing ceremony live online and see the Summer Games come to an end with what is expected to be a rousing show of color and light.

It was just two weeks ago that the games of the 31st Olympiad kicked off in Rio’s Maracana stadium with a show that featured Gisele Bundchen and four hours of dancing, bright lights, and athletes from across the globe streaming in. Now, after the Summer Games that included historic performances from Michael Phelps and Usain Bolt as well as some emerging stars like Simone Biles, the athletes will once again make their final walk into the stadium.

The Rio Olympics closing ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. ET, but viewers can watch it on NBC starting at 8 p.m. ET on a one-hour tape delay. It will also be available on streaming video for those looking to watch online (a link to the streaming video can be found below).

Details of the Rio Olympics closing ceremony have been kept closely guarded, the Telegraph noted, but if history is any indication then viewers can expect to see a parade of Brazilian celebrities and dignitaries ready to bring the games to a close.

That was the case in London, the Telegraph noted.

“Fours years ago the Spice Girls reformed for the first time in four years as London officially handed the Olympic torch over to Rio.

“Brazilian organizers could find it difficult to match London for celebrity appearances after Adele, the Pet Shop Boys, One Direction, Liam Gallagher, David Bowie, Brian May, Elton John and the Rolling Stones all helped bid farewell to the Olympics in London.”

American viewers who watch the Rio Olympics closing ceremony live online will get to see one of the breakout stars of the Summer Games leading the nation’s athletes into the stadium. Gymnast Simone Biles, who won four gold medals to go along with one bronze, has been selected as the flag-bearer for the American delegation.

It was Simone’s teammates who picked her, Team USA noted in a statement.

“It’s an incredible honor to be selected as the flag bearer by my Team USA teammates,” Biles said. “This experience has been the dream of a lifetime for me and my team, and I consider it a privilege to represent my country, the United States Olympic Committee and USA Gymnastics by carrying our flag. I also wish to thank the city of Rio de Janeiro, and the entire country of Brazil, for hosting an incredible Games.”

The closing ceremony will also include remarks from International Olympic Committee president Thomas Bach and the leader of the Rio Olympics organizing committee, Carlos Arthur Nuzman. It will also have Rio mayor Eduardo Paes handing over the Olympic flag to Tokyo governor Yuriko Koike as the Japanese city prepares to play host to the 2020 Summer Olympics.

But viewers who watch the 2016 Rio Olympics closing ceremony live online are not likely to see as extravagant an affair as the one that took place in London to close out the 2012 Olympics. As SB Nation noted, the budget for the Rio opening ceremony was just one-tenth of London’s for their opening ceremony, and the closing ceremony is likely to be as budget-restricted.

Those who want to watch the Rio Olympics closing ceremony live online can find streaming video through NBC Sports. There will be some options for viewers across the globe, as well. The closing ceremony can be seen in India through Star Sports and in Britain through the BBC Online. A full list of international broadcast partners can be found here.
