Stacey Bond: South Carolina Woman Dies Of Heart Attack Days Before Her Wedding, Funeral Held On Her Wedding Day

In a tragic incident, a 41-year-old woman from South Carolina who was about to get married to the love of her life passed away following a heart attack. Stacey Bond was making final preparations for her wedding which was scheduled for August 20. Now, her relatives would hold her funeral on the day she was supposed to get married. According to Yahoo News, loved ones of Stacey were all gearing up for her wedding to her fiance, Guy A. Weaver. The couple were planning to tie the knot after spending nearly six years together.

However, on August 12, just a few days before her wedding day, Stacey succumbed to a massive heart attack. Stacey’s sudden death has left several of her friends and relatives inconsolable.

A bridesmaid who was supposed to be with Stacey on her wedding day wrote on Facebook.

“You was getting married … we just talked about how you wasn’t a bridezilla. It was supposed to be a celebration of love, instead it’s turning into a celebration of life.”

Stacey too was very excited about her wedding and was anticipating the day she gets to marry her love. In a Facebook post last month, she had posted the following.

“Good morning fb!! The countdown begins I have 30 days till Wedding Day… Time has gone by so fast!! I [love] u Guy A Weaver!!”

Little did she know at the time that she would be laid to rest in her wedding gown on the very day of her wedding.

According to reports, Stacey died on August 12 shortly after she told her mother, Elizabeth Lovell, that she was having a panic attack. Shortly before the fatal heart attack, Stacey was making last minute preparations for the wedding, a friend wrote on a GoFundMe page that was created to help the family with her burial costs. Stacey also happens to be a mother of four children. Her family has been left devastated at the turn of events. One of her children wrote on Facebook.

“Why why why why god why. She was gonna have the time of her life [at her wedding].”

A video shared by the family on The Island Packet showed how happy Stacey was on the day she selected her wedding gown – the same one she would be wearing on her funeral. Her groom, too, would be wearing a white tuxedo he had bought for the wedding on the day of the funeral. The seven bridesmaids, maid of honor, and flower girls for her wedding would also be wearing the same outfits that they had planned to don on Stacey’s wedding day.

Stacey’s fiance, Guy Weaver, was visibly shattered at the turn of events.

“The last six years of my life with Stacey, she has been one of the happiest people in the world, And this wedding, it was just a happy, happy, happy time for her.” Weaver told the Island Packet.
