‘Bachelorette’ JoJo Heading To ‘DWTS,’ Jordan Rodgers Starts SEC Gig: Will Their Bicoastal Relationship Last? [Report]

JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers moved in together shortly after the Bachelorette season finale aired in early August, but, in the coming weeks, they may be spending a lot less time together in the home they are renting in Dallas, Texas.

ESPN recently announced that Jordan will begin working as a college football analyst for the SEC Network later this month and a new report indicates that JoJo will be putting on her dancing shoes on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars. That means the couple will be on opposite coasts for work, something that may get more negative rumors flying about their relationship in light of a new round of cheating allegations dropped this week by one of Jordan’s ex-girlfriends.

Before we delve into the latest information about JoJo’s joining the Dancing with the Stars Season 23 cast, details about Jordan’s new job with the SEC Network, and the newest infidelity accusations brought against the former NFL player, here’s a little scoop on the home they are currently sharing. Hopefully, the couple will be able to enjoy time together in their new home before they get back in front of the cameras again.

According to Candy’s Dirt, JoJo and Jordan are leasing a single-story, 1,547 square-foot starter home in East Dallas that boasts a gorgeous open floor plan.

Built in 1949, the house was recently remodeled and features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a bonus room that some Bachelorette fans are hoping will be (eventually) turned into a nursery.

So, will JoJo be the sixth Bachelor franchise star to join Dancing with the Stars?

According to E! Online‘s sources, JoJo Fletcher, Olympic champion Simone Biles, and Disney star Jake T. Austin will all be “in the running” to compete for the DWTS Mirrorball Trophy when the season kicks off on September 12.

Although ABC won’t confirm the cast list until early September, Fletcher recently told Glamour that she recently made a visit to the DWTS ballroom and “would definitely consider” taking the gig because it’s one of the “coolest, most challenging things” anyone could do.

If JoJo is part of the Dancing with the Stars Season 23 cast, she will be spending a lot of time away from Jordan. Rehearsals generally take place in the Los Angeles and Jordan will soon be starting his new career with ESPN’s SEC Network where he will provide college football commentary as an in-studio analyst.

And no, his job won’t be based in L.A. or Texas — SEC’s headquarters are in Charlotte, North Carolina.

According to Reality Steve, Jordan is going to be part of the network’s Saturday team once college football starts next week. However, that doesn’t mean Jordan will only be away on Saturdays – there’s more to the job than the on-air time.

“Jordan will be out of town every weekend for the next four months starting Aug. 23rd,” states Reality Steve. “It’s not like he gets on a plane Saturday morning, does a show, and flies back that night either. This is ESPN. There’ll be production meetings on Friday and I’m guessing he doesn’t leave til Sunday. Sooooo yeah, he got exactly what he wanted out of the Bachelorette – a job, and free weekends out of town. It’s working out just like he planned.”

The “free weekends out of town” might strike a cord with JoJo Fletcher, especially with the new cheating rumors that are making headlines. According to a previous report from the Inquisitr, Jordan’s ex-girlfriend published text messages on Thursday that she claims are proof that he was a “prolific” cheater during their almost four-year relationship.

JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers have yet to issue a statement about the new round of cheating allegations. Although they have been very active on Snapchat and Twitter since the Bachelorette season finale, they have not shared any videos or interacted with fans on social media since Jordan’s ex, Brittany Farrar, blasted him online on Thursday.

If JoJo takes on the Dancing with the Stars gig and Jordan travels to North Carolina for his new job, it won’t be easy for the newly engaged couple to maintain their bicoastal relationship. Reality Steve says there’s “not a chance in hell” that their relationship will last. Do you think their romance will fizzle out like many other Bachelor franchise stars?
