Zayn Malik, Gigi Hadid Kayak, As Dad Finally Boots Hikers

Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid are in Tahiti right now and showing off their kayaking skills, but are they afraid to enjoy nature with her father around?

Of course, there are several good reasons that Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid could be in Tahiti to get away from Los Angeles. For example, Mirror claims that there are rumors that Zayn Malik could be writing a book.

Zayn Malik also recently got the news that he had a song specifically written about him by rappers Riz Ahmed and Heems of the Swet Shop Boys that will be released in October, according to Newsweek. This tribute could have inspired Zayn to work on his second album with new perspective while on vacation in Tahiti.

However, there might be some bad news for Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid's recent vacation to Tahiti, despite the pictures from TMZ that look peaceful and relaxing.

Namely, although Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid are close to their dad, Mohamed Hadid, a lot of recent headlines about him seems to imply that he is not as interested in nature as Gigi Hadid.

For example, Daily Mail recently posted pictures of Gigi Hadid's dad out for a spin in a vintage luxury car with his fiancee. This headline of the two cruising contrasts badly to other news around that time that Mohamed Hadid was fighting with hikers.

According to Real Deal, Los Angeles residents wanted to continue to use parts of Mohamed Hadid's private land as a trail. Gigi Hadid's father bought the 100 acres in 2002, but did not decide to develop it until recently.

LA West Media reports that these hikers lost the right to use the trail in court -- but Mohamed Hadid might not be as nature-hating as the headlines seem to imply.

Instead, although Mohamed Hadid does not live on this land, many celebrities do not want their private land regularly used by the public because this creates a lot of extra security expenses. Some of these security risks include the potential for lawsuits due to accidents or injuries that might occur on privately-owned land.

Celebrities already spend enough money on security and some can spend $250,000 and $1.5 million per year on security, according to ABC News. They also quoted a professional security detail expert stating the following about celebrities like Mohamed Hadid or Zayn Malik.

"It doesn't matter if you are an A- or B- or C-lister. There is always someone when you are in the spotlight who wants to cause you harm, you never know."
Mohamed Hadid takes security very seriously, and he recently sued one of his former employees for stealing photos of Gigi Hadid taken when she was a minor, according to People.

Nevertheless, Mohamed Hadid has been at the center of many scandals. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Mohamed Hadid made his step up into the world of being a multi-million real estate developer when he side-stepped Donald Trump in the late 1980s with a deal for luxury living buildings in Aspen, Colorado. Donald Trump later sued Gigi Hadid's father, but lost his lawsuit.

Mohamed Hadid was also in trouble last year for his home being too large, according to Jezebel. In fact, it was rumored that Hadid could go to jail for having an "illegal mega mansion."

Another recent scandal about Mohamed Hadid involves a former driver that sued him for $496,123 and won $273,630. Unfortunately, Gigi Hadid's dad paid his driver less than minimum wage, and the driver also said Mohamed Hadid overworked him without allowing for proper bathroom breaks, according to Radar Online.
