Countess Vaughn’s ‘Wifey: Do You Love Him?’ Song — 2 NSFW Music Videos Get 140,000 YouTube Views


Countess Vaughn is getting loads of attention on social media for two music videos for Vaughn’s song, “Wifey: Do You Love Him?” The first version of the “Wifey” song, as seen below, was uploaded to YouTube on August 18. TV One explains in their description the melee caused by the creation of the video.

That version of the “Wifey” video has swelled to nearly 120,000 views on YouTube since August 18 — which means it has gotten a lot of attention in about 24 hours. It also has nearly 3,000 thumbs down ratings on YouTube, with only 665 thumbs up ratings. With content that shows Vaughn playing a character who learns that her husband has been cheating on her with a tall and leggy woman, the “Wifey” video is receiving mixed reviews.

Some viewers remind others that Lisa Wu didn’t have any money to use as a budget when she filmed the “Do You Love Him?” video, so they are urging others to take it easy on Countess. Others are showing their displeasure with Vaughn’s video by giving it bad ratings and comments. That has only served to make the “Wifey” video even more popular.

The video is currently in the 24th position on YouTube’s list of the most popular 200 videos of the moment.

Countess also appears in an alternate version of the “Wifey” video, as seen below. Vaughn has some scenes in the new video that are the same as the above version of “Do You Love Him?”

However, this alternate version of “Wifey” shows Countess looking out the window of a warehouse type of facility for some scenes. Both versions show Vaughn’s famous scene where she walks away from her man in the song that features Countess singing, “Don’t walk away from me,” with Vaughn holding her black robe to the side so the man can see the “butt crack” bandied about during the Hollywood Divas reunion special.

That version of the “Wifey” song was uploaded on Friday, August 19 — and quickly got more than 20,000 views. The number of thumbs down ratings on that “Wifey” video were up to 320 as of this writing, which is more than the 181 thumbs up ratings the video has garnered. TV One asks if it is indeed the alternate version of the “Do You Love Him?” video.

Both videos are receiving tons of feedback on Twitter and Facebook as well as reaction “Wifey” videos on YouTube.

As reported by the New York Post, the “Wifey” music video from Vaughn has gone viral for all the wrong reasons — and is getting rough reviews from viewers. However, those who have followed the journey of Countess over the past few years via the Hollywood Divas reality TV show know that Countess has been through a lot, with the most recent episodes showing Vaughn’s health crisis with her voice. A physician told Countess that she might always have the raspy voice she has now.
