‘Days Of Our Lives’: Belle Keeps A Huge Secret About Jennifer From Chad — Will It Affect The Custody Battle? [Spoilers]

Days Of Our Lives spoilers are flooding in now that new episodes are only a few days away. What can fans expect when NBC begins airing the new season of the long-running soap opera? Belle will find out a huge secret about Jennifer. However, she keeps it from Chad. Will this affect the custody battle over Thomas?

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Jen Lilley and Eric Martsolf discussed Tate’s kidnapping and what happens after the boy is found. New DOOL spoilers have to do with Belle (Martha Madison), Chad (Billy Flynn), and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves).

According to the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Jennifer Horton will relapse. Overwhelmed with grief over Abigail’s alleged death, Jennifer will go to a seedy motel to drink booze and pop pills. She ends up passing out, but Belle finds the grieving mother. She ends up calling Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) for help. Jennifer is shocked to wake up and find the two women staring at her. Instead of thanking them for looking after her, Jennifer becomes defensive.

As Days Of Our Lives fans know, Chad DiMera and Jennifer Horton are in the middle of a custody battle. Belle is Chad’s lawyer, but she promises Jennifer that she won’t say a word to Chad about her relapse. What is she thinking? Martha Madison told the magazine what is going through Belle’s mind.

“When Belle sees the condition that Jennifer is in, she just wants to help her. She doesn’t want to hurt Jennifer or make her feel any worse.”

Later, Jennifer goes home and then attends a meeting with Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) accompanying her. Chad shows up at Jennifer’s house, but Belle refuses to let him in. She also doesn’t say a word about Jennifer’s relapse. However, Chad figures it out on his own. This could create a huge problem with Belle being Chad’s lawyer. She is supposed to be representing her client and looking after his best interests, as well as Thomas’. Madison explains to the magazine why Belle doesn’t say anything.

“Belle represents Chad, so she is conflicted between her heart and her job.”

Not only could this create a problem with Belle representing Chad, but it could also cause legal problems for the attorney. There are rules and guidelines that lawyers must follow. Keeping secrets about the opposition from her client is not allowed in most states. However, this is not real life, but a soap opera. Chances are Chad will let it go. Especially since it was reported by CBS Soaps In Depth two weeks ago that Chad DiMera will think Thomas is better off with Jennifer. It is not known if this is before or after the relapse, but either way, Jennifer is in no condition to care for a child. Right now, she can’t even care for herself.

Other Days Of Our Lives spoilers include Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) being arrested for Tate’s kidnapping. He maintains his innocence and blames Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry) for setting him up. Also, Ciara Brady (Vivian Jovanni) will tell Chad she loves him. However, he rebuffs her and she goes to find Theo Carver (Kyler Pettis). She locates him, but he isn’t alone. Theo and Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) are sharing a kiss.
