Rihanna ‘Proud Of Drake For Ending Eminem Feud,’ Couple Rekindling Romance After Split Rumors?

Rihanna couldn’t be happier to hear that whatever feud that was brewing between Drake and Eminem has evidently been squashed, a new report has claimed.

According to Hollywood Life, the “Work” singer was deeply concerned about her on-again-off-again boyfriend and his supposed feud with the Detroit native, who was rumored to be gearing up for a diss track aimed at Drake following his falling out with rapper Joe Budden.

From what insiders have gathered, Joe and Eminem are very good friends, so people were under the impression that the self-proclaimed Slim Shady would side with his pal and take a dig at Drake in what many thought would become one of the most explosive hip-hop feuds yet.

A source, however, stresses that there was absolutely no truth to Eminem preparing a diss track at Drake. The two squashed the rumors of a possible rap battle when the Views rapper brought the 43-year-old out on stage during his “Summer Sixteen” show in Detroit earlier this week.

When Rihanna heard about Eminem attending Drake’s show, Hollywood Life alleges that the singer was very much relieved because she didn’t want to have to choose sides between two people she cares about the most in the music industry.

While Rihanna wasn’t sure where the twosome stood before Eminem’s attendance at Drake’s concert, the 28-year-old has been longtime pals with both rappers, and evidently felt as if she would be put in an awkward position to pick who she was backing in what could’ve been the biggest rap feud of the year.

“Rihanna’s so glad Drake let his ego down and shared the stage Em [on August 16],” an insider shared. “She’s been telling Drake for weeks that the last thing he needs to be in another feud, especially with someone close to her like Eminem.”

“Ri know her name would have been all up in both their mouths and she would have been the focus of their beef had they released diss tracks on each other. Needless to say, she’s happy that these two rap legends are on the same page.”

News of Rihanna’s happiness regarding Eminem and Drake still being close pals comes just months after reports claimed the singer was desperate for the “One Dance” rapper to settle down with her.

Multiple outlets claimed that Rihanna became frustrated with the idea of only being a hook-up partner for Drake, stressing that she’s nearing the age of 30 and sees herself having children and getting married. One of the things missing in her life is a man that will solely dedicate himself to her needs and genuinely wants to be in a committed relationship.

Drake and Rihanna’s relationship is rather complicated, the International Business Times adds, with the twosome having made it known to their friends that, despite having hooked up earlier this year, the duo is not seeing one another. The “Kiss It Better” belter is under the impression that Drizzy isn’t ready to commit himself to a full-time relationship and would prefer having RiRi as a friend with benefits — something she’s no longer down with.
