Rihanna Plotting Secret Collaboration With Drake & Eminem

Rihanna is allegedly “desperate” to team up with Drake and Eminem for a show stopping performance.

According to reports, Rihanna is currently plotting a top secret collaboration with the rappers after seeing Drake and Eminem bury the hatchet with a surprise performance during Drake’s “Summer Sixteen tour” stop in Detroit, Michigan, on August 16.

After seeing the two legendary rappers take to the stage together earlier this week, Hollywood Life is now reporting that Rihanna is doing all she can to get the opportunity to hit the stage with the two and has already “hinted” at the possibility of a collaboration performance to her rumored boyfriend Drake.

“[Rihanna would] love to get on stage and perform with both of them this year when Drake comes to Los Angeles in September,” a source told the site, referring to Drake’s upcoming trio of tour dates at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on September 7, 9, and 10.

“A performance like that is something that would have Rihanna in tears, because she has so much respect and admiration for both men,” the site’s insider admitted of the respect she has for both Drake and Eminem, revealing that Rihanna wants their rumored upcoming collaboration to “send shockwaves” through the music world.

Rihanna has notably worked with both Eminem and Drake on a slew of successful collaborations in the past, most recently teaming up with Drake on the hits “Work” and “Take Care,” as well as hitting the studio with Eminem for their huge 2010 hit “Love The Way You Lie.”

Drake, Rihanna, and Eminem are all yet to comment on the reports suggesting they could be plotting a top-secret collaboration, though Rihanna did make it known that she approved of the rappers performing together earlier this week.

A number of fans took to social media to post screen shots of Rihanna’s reaction after she liked the Instagram photo Eminem uploaded of himself and Drake following their show stopping performance.

“Views from The Joe. #WelcometoDetroit,” Eminem captioned the snap.

Reports claiming that Rihanna is ready to hit the stage with Drake and Eminem for a huge duet also comes just weeks after it was revealed that the “We Found Love” singer was doing all she could to stop the rappers from feuding after reports claimed that Eminem threatened to “destroy” Drake in a rap battle.

“The last thing Rihanna needs is another feud between two men who she cares about,” an insider close to Rihanna told Hollywood Life earlier this month as rumors swirled that she and Drake are dating once again.

“[Rihanna] doesn’t want to be put in the middle of this mayhem because she loves Eminem and has so many great memories when they toured,” the source said prior to the collaboration rumors. “And Drake, that’s her friend, her brother, her lover and sometimes her man.”

The source also alleged that Rihanna was planning to have a sit down with Drake because she’s tired of him always being caught up in nasty feuds.

“First it was Chris [Brown] and Drake, now Eminem and Drake,” Hollywood Life said. “[Rihanna’s] going to sit Drake’s a** down because he’s forever in a feud.”

But despite the past feud rumors, Drake and Eminem squashed the bad blood reports when they hit the stage together this week, publicly gushing over each other to Detroit concertgoers prior to their collaboration.

Yahoo! reported that Drake surprised lucky fans by bringing out Eminem during his Detroit show, describing him as being “the greatest rapper to ever get on a microphone.”

Eminem then took his turn to praise Drake, telling the audience, “It’s an honor to share the stage with this man right here” before they launched into a performance of “Forever.”
