Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Have Two Big Christmas Surprises For Their Fans
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are going to make their Christmas a whole lot merrier by getting married! This news will certainly excite Shefani fans, but getting to see the couple’s festive wedding photos isn’t the only Christmas present Gwen and Blake’s admirers have to look forward to; the couple are also going to make this December one to remember by releasing a Christmas album!
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have reportedly decided to turn Blake’s ranch into a winter wonderland for an intimate holiday wedding. They want to walk down the aisle in the Oklahoma wild because it’s the perfect place to avoid the intrusive camera lenses of the paparazzi. Gwen also has a soft spot for her cowboy boyfriend’s sprawling property because her three sons — Kingston (10), Zuma (7), and Apollo (2) — have fallen in love with the woods and the wide open spaces surrounding Blake’s house.
“They’re planning a December wedding at Blake’s ranch in Oklahoma because Gwen and the boys love it there and it will give them a lot of privacy,” a source told Life & Style.
As The Inquisitr previously reported, Blake Shelton invited Gwen Stefani and her “This Is What the Truth Feels Like Tour” road crew to stop by his 10 Pistols Ranch before they headed to Las Vegas for their August 19 show. On Monday, Gwen delighted her fans by sharing a ton of Snapchat videos of their visit. Her inside look at Blake’s home will give you some idea of just how secluded his ranch is.
Blake is allegedly going to ask Gwen Stefani to marry him in September, which will give Gwen and Blake a few weeks to plan their wedding after they wrap up their tours in October. Earlier this month, Us Weekly confirmed that the couple aren’t engaged yet, but they’ve reportedly hired a wedding planner.
“Gwen has said they both want something more low-key than their first weddings,” an insider dished. “It would likely be at Blake’s ranch [in Oklahoma] or in the backyard. Gwen doesn’t really care, she is just in love with Blake and their life together.”
One source said that Gwen and Blake don’t talk about specific wedding plans very much because they prefer to talk about their future together as a couple; it’s more important to them than wedding decorations and dress designers.
“They talk about their future and growing old together, but there aren’t specific plans like a dress or flowers.”
If the couple do end up getting married in December, perhaps they’ll play their own holiday songs at their wedding reception. According to Radar Online, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have informed their friends that they’re recording a Christmas album.
“They said it will be a little bit pop with a lot of country!” a source revealed.
Gwen and Blake have already proved that they’re comfortable singing together, so maybe the “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” singers will give a classic Christmas duet like “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” their own unique spin.
As Taste of Country reports, Blake Shelton recorded an album titled Cheers, It’s Christmas in 2012, so he’s already comfortable crooning holiday classics. Gwen Stefani doesn’t have as much experience doing Christmas music; No Doubt’s cover of The Vandals song “Oi to the World” is the closest thing she’s ever had to a holiday hit. However, thanks to The Voice, Shefani fans can already listen to Gwen singing a Christmas song with Blake. As Beacon Street Online reports, she and Blake performed “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” with Pharrell Williams and Adam Levine during Season 7 of the NBC show.
