Kylie Jenner Weighs In On Justin Bieber’s Instagram Drama

Kylie Jenner is firing back after fans accused her of putting Justin Bieber on blast for deleting his Instagram account.

Fans were quick to accuse the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star of wading in on the Bieber’s issues on social media shortly after Justin decided to deactivate his account, but Kylie is now denying playing any part in the drama.

Twitter account @PopCrave took to the social media site to post a screenshot of a message supposedly tweeted out to Jenner’s more than 17 million followers on August 16, which appeared to suggest that Kylie was happy Bieber decided to leave the photo sharing site because that meant she moved up the all-important most followed list.

“Kylie Jenner tweeted this shortly after #JustinDeactivatedParty started to trend, but deleted it,” Pop Crave claimed alongside a screenshot of a message that read “Well, I guess that makes me the 5th most followed person on Instagram.”

Despite Pop Crave‘s tweet being retweeted more than 3,000 times, Seventeen is revealing that Kylie is now denying ever tweeting the message, which was factually incorrect to begin with.

Twitter user @adanpartida quoted the accounts original message and added, “Oh @KylieJenner you did not!” to which Jenner replied by clarifying that the message was not tweeted out by her and had been doctored.

“Yeah I actually didn’t,” Jenner tweeted. “It’s fake.”

Notably, now that Bieber has waved bye bye to the social media site, Kylie is actually in sixth place when it comes to the most followed personalities on Instagram, falling behind Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Beyoncé, and her older sister, Kim Kardashian.

Prior to Kylie’s clarification, the pretty shady tweet set social media alight with a number of fans praising the reality star for what they thought was her “savage” response to Bieber’s drama.

“Justin is such a baby meanwhile Kylie being a savage #JustinDeactivatedParty” @Unromantic5SOS tweeted alongside a screenshot of the fake Jenner tweet.

“Justin didn’t deactivated Kris Jenner hacked and deleted his Instagram so Kylie could rise #JustinDeactivatedParty,” @KylizzleYeezus even joked.

Kylie Jenner found herself roped into Justin Bieber’s latest drama after People reported that the singer deleted his account because his fans were reportedly sending negative and hateful messages to his rumored new girlfriend Sofia Richie.

A slew of Justin’s followers then took to Twitter to vent their feelings about Bieber’s Instagram deactivation under the hashtag #JustinDeactivatedParty, which is when the fake Jenner tweet reportedly popped up.

Just months before Jenner found herself in the firing line amid Bieber’s Instagram controversy, Kylie was actually gushing about Justin and their friendship by claiming that he “gets her” and is always around to see how she’s coping with living in the spotlight.

“I’m so close to him because I feel like he’s been through exactly what I’ve been through in a completely different way but very similar,” Kylie said of Bieber in an interview with ELLE UK.

“He just… he gets me,” Jenner continued, “and every time I see him he always sits me down and is like, ‘Are you okay? You’re amazing. You can get through this, just stay true to yourself.’ He helps me a lot.”

Justin also spoke out about his friendship with Jenner in a November, 2015, interview with Billboard, telling the world that they should “be more kind” to Kylie and young stars like her long before his Instagram drama hit the headlines.

“I want people to be more kind to young celebrities like Kylie. Look at her world: She has been living on TV since she was a kid,” Justin said of Jenner. “Every time she’s looking around she sees a camera, and that’s affecting how she’s thinking and how she’s perceiving people and why she has to do certain things… I hurt for some people.”
