Lady Gaga, Taylor Kinney Destined To Get Back Together As Fans ‘Root’ For Them

It’s a love game between Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney. According to new reports, both stars want each other back. It appears that the Chicago Fire star is desperate to win back the love of his former girlfriend, and she feels the same way.

According to a new report via Radar Online, Lady Gaga’s relationship with Taylor Kinney may be far from over. An alleged friend of the singer told the online tabloid that Gaga wants to get back together with Kinney right this very minute. Gaga, 30, and Kinney, 35, shocked fans in late July when they announced their sad split. Now, a friend close to the superstar has revealed that Gaga is distraught over their breakup as much as their fans are and she wants to take him back.

“She is super still super upset about the break-up!” adds the source.

It appears that their careers and busy schedules drove a wedge into their relationship. Gaga has been trying to revamp her image and get back into the spotlight by starring on American Horror Story: Hotel, for which she won a Golden Globe Award. In addition, she has been working on her fifth solo studio album and has since revived her singing career with a string of televised performances. As for Kinney, he’s been working on the set of his NBC series, Chicago Fire.

“It got super competitive with them, since they are both on hit TV shows,” adds the source.

There is still a possibility that they will reunite their love. The alleged snitch claims that Gaga still has her 15-carat Lorraine Schwartz heart-shaped engaged ring, but she hasn’t talked to Kinney in a while.

“And her friends told her that she is silly to get back together with him because he is not trying to get her back!”

What a stark contrast to Us Weekly’s report that claims Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney “have been talking” and he wants her back.

“Taylor really hopes they’ll get back together,” a different source told the publication. But, this tabloid did mention that she did get to keep the engagement ring even though she moved the rest of her belongings out of his Chicago apartment.

Gaga agrees about the current state of their relationship. She took to Instagram to reveal to her fans that only some time apart would help repair their broken relationship. Gaga then asked her fans, known as Little Monsters, to “root” for them.

“Taylor and I have always believed that we are soul mates,” she shared in a post on July 20. “Just like all couples, we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else, and we really love each other.”

As previously reported via Us Weekly, even both of their families are hoping that the couple will reunite.

“Both of their families are upset,” an insider told the outlet. “And his costars tell him that they miss her. Everyone is hoping they get back together.”

Talk about a bad romance! Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney started dating in 2011 after they met on the set of Gaga’s music video for her single “Yoü And I.” The couple then got engaged on Valentine’s Day. Gaga shared the special moment with her fans on her Instagram.
