‘Married At First Sight’ Season 4 Spoilers: Tom Tries To Tell Lillian About His Bus

Married At First Sight Season 4’s Tom Wilson and Lillian Vilchez just had their first fight as a married couple. In the sneak peek for tonight’s episode, Lillian was in tears after Tom insinuated that she was materialistic. Interestingly, the fight happened right after they consummated their marriage.

If there is one couple this season that looks like they’re going to make it, it’s definitely Tom and Lillian. From the start, the two were very attracted to each other. Although their wedding had several hiccups, Tom and Lillian did not let it ruin their special day.

“It couldn’t have been better even if we planned this,” Lillian told Tom during their wedding night.

This season of Married At First Sight, however, will not be complete without drama. Even though the two seemed very comfortable around each other, Tom decided against telling his wife that he lives in a bus, thinking that it would scare her away. He decided that he would tell Lillian when they get to Jamaica for their honeymoon.

“My expectations for the honeymoon: 1) have fun, 2) get to know my wife, 3) to choose the time and place to tell her where I live and how I live to give her an idea of the kind of person that I am.”

Tom further explained that he wanted to get to know Lillian better before sharing his whole life story with her. Given that he has been hurt before, he learned that it’s always better to put your guards up.

“In our honeymoon, I want to figure out how serious she is so I don’t get hurt. I feel great that Lily is part of my life but sharing my insecurities, it can be scary. We’re two totally different people and I’m worried that as soon as she finds out more about me and my bus she’s gonna run away,” he added.

Judging by the promo for tonight’s episode of Married At First Sight, Tom and Lillian could be the first couple to have sex in Season 4. This did not come as a surprise as both of them shared that they felt a strong sexual connection to their new spouse.

After consummating their marriage, Tom and Lillian ended up talking in bed, trying to get to know about each other a bit better. Lillian shared that she’s the type who tends to “do more than she should” that people ended up taking advantage of her. When it was Tom’s turn, he debated against telling her about the bus and his whole living situation. Even after they shared an intimate moment, Tom was still hesitant, thinking that Lilly would not accept him for who he truly is.

“Tonight was a a very nice night, very romantic, but also I am nervous to open up to her because I’m not sure she is really going to accept me for me and that’s why I still haven’t told Lilly that I live in a bus. She has no idea. I don’t know when I am going to tell her this because if she hates the bus that is going to be a problem.”

Tom then told Lillian that the “biggest thing” about him is that he considers himself a true minimalist. When she asked him to explain what he meant by that, he shared that a lot of people buy things thinking that it would make them happy, like a “really super nice car.” Tom’s explanation rubbed Lillian the wrong way.

“He knows the car I drive. He saw it at brunch. So for him to say that, he already knew that he was putting me in that category, and it’s not fair,” she told the camera.

The Miami realtor argued that she needed a new car, saying that no one would buy a brand new condo from her if she was driving a 2003 model.

“For you to say that it’s a materialistic thing, it hits a nerve for me. In general my life is super simple, but yeah I do have a nice car,” Lilly told Tom.

The Married At First Sight Season 4 promo ended with Tom looking bewildered by Lillian’s reaction. He explained that it was not his intention to offend her. Lillian’s sudden outburst then discouraged Tom from telling her about the bus.

“I’m opening up myself about some of my own insecurities, but her reaction definitely threw me off,” he explained.
